Is anybody else watching Celebrity SAS who dares wins ? I like Arge .I don’t think he is trying to be a clown ,he is just nervous. Couldn’t help but laugh at Matt Hancocks fall !

Has Michelle gone ? Is this series just on Sunday nights as I keep feeling like I am missing somethings happening.
Thats lovely about Melinda finding love on the show ! Also feel bad not taking to Gareth Gates at the start he has suffered so much trauma and is showing himself to be a very strong person. In fact a lot of them seemed to have suffered a lot of trauma in their childhoods and early lives .A lot of respect for them all.

Yes Michelle was sent home at the end of Phase 1.

The teamwork task was insane! Couldn't believe it when they all started dropping with heatstroke.
Interesting to see who cheated on the integrity task - wasn't the ones I'd have expected.
Loving Gareth Gates. Also fancy him, which feels a bit wrong.

Has anyone seen the US version of Celeb SAS? Also on the Channel 4 website. I'm really enjoying it - great mix of celebs in the most recent season.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 16/10/2023 22:52

@Jibo he is a very good looking bloke and has a great physique. He's also almost 40 so I don't feel bad about fancying him a bit myself.

Jibo · 16/10/2023 22:54

Oh I SAY!

fans self

Unicorn2022 · 16/10/2023 23:56

I've felt ick about Gareth Gates since reading he lost his virginity to Katie Price back when she was pregnant. And he's always the colour of an oompa loompa

Jibo · 17/10/2023 13:48

Oh my God @Unicorn2022 I TOTALLY forgot about that! Extremely icky, yes. Thank you for this calming reminder.

VioletLemon · 19/10/2023 20:00

Love Billy & Foxy for their realness but I'd climb Chris like a totem pole any day of the week, or Rudy.

Lottapianos · 19/10/2023 20:10

'Love Billy & Foxy for their realness but I'd climb Chris like a totem pole any day of the week, or Rudy.'

I hear you 😁 but chuck Foxy in there too, just for me

BlowDryRat · 23/10/2023 23:15

I admired how far Zoe got, especially when she was in real pain with her feet. I only learned her name this episode though, kept referring to her as Cherie Blair before now Blush (Who, BTW, DH made me Google and is now 69! I remember her popping out babies in number 10 when I was at school!).

My favourite is Danielle. I have no idea who she is but she's been amazing.

Matt Hancock is the gift that keeps on giving though. DH and I have been cackling with laughter being rude about him during this series. I do worry that he's going to top himself though.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 24/10/2023 00:01

@BlowDryRat I was also massively impressed at Zoe. And Arg for that matter. In fact I felt really proud of him.

Don't worry about Hancock. He thinks far too highly of himself to do owt like that. He's extraordinarily thick skinned. Bet he will make it to the end just to piss us all off.

BlowDryRat · 24/10/2023 06:42

You're probably right. I notice we didn't get to see him reading out his goodbye letter. DH and I reckon it's to Rishi, guilt-tripping him about not shaking his hand in the line-up.

Lottapianos · 24/10/2023 06:48

Zoe was a delight. What a brilliant attitude all the way through, including at the end. That's a woman who has done a lot of work on herself. Loved how all the DS came in with big grins on their faces to say goodbye, obvs v fond of her

Danielle is growing on me. She's been through hell, and is full of grit and determination

I'm no fan of Hancock to put it mildly, but he does seem to just get on with whatever is thrown at him, with no moaning. Huge change from week one. Maybe it's down to editing!

user1471556818 · 24/10/2023 10:55

Was sad to see Zoe go but my god she has done so well .Obviously well liked and respected by the staff .
All their feet though what a mess

RainbowZebraWarrior · 28/09/2023 13:21

Foxy is worth his weight in gold for his facial expressions and sayings (as much use as tits on a snake is a favourite)

I'm also glad Billy is chief DS. I'm not terribly keen on Chris either. I didn't warm to him last season at all. I do miss Remi. He was probably too nice!

My favourite Foxy quote from this series so far is "I've seen tectonic plates move faster". 😂

I laughed out loud at that one too 😂

I think Gareth has been brilliant, he seems to really get it and doesn't act all high and mighty and above them just because he's a celebrity

I'm glad they let Zoe leave on a high, she was great unfortunately just her age caught up with her in the physical side of things I like how they all went to see her after

Remember Jay who was the mole on one of the regular SAS seasons before he joined the DS. Now he was VERY easy on the eye (and still is!). Think there was one called Staz(?) Who was planted as mole in another season, he was also rather nice to watch!

I couldn't do it at all. The physical element would kill me. They need to do one in a cold environment they haven't for a while, the heat would destroy me

Jay is one of the DS (along with Ant and Ollie plus some guy I don't recognise) on the new season of SAS Australia which starts this month.

One of the previous seasons is on YouTube and worth watching. Ant and Ollie are in all the seasons. Foxy and Billy were in seasons 1 & 2. SQAS Australia is like the older UK ones where things were more brutal (before Health & Safety stepped in and Ant got fed up 😛).

Ooh thank you I didn't realise there was a way of watching the Australian one so will try and remember to look them up, I'm particularly enjoying this series of the celebrity one so will be nice to watch another while waiting for the next episode - the American ones seem to be on c4

BlowDryRat · 29/10/2023 22:36

Has anyone watched tonight's episode yet? I was surprised none of the recruits tried to leg it when the enemy forces arrived. It might be the way it was edited but it seemed like the dogs made a right racket looking for them.

My normally gentle and easygoing DH is hoping we get to see Matt Hancock being "lightly waterboarded" next week!

Vintagecreamandcottagepie · 29/10/2023 22:55

Foxy is mine!

So sexy even tho he is losing his looks a tiny bit...

JewelleryCat · 29/10/2023 23:12

I did laugh when MH was getting interrogated, I know it’s made for tv but I thought it was so funny. I did feel sorry for Gareth with his stammer though

kerstina · 30/10/2023 08:33

Oh yes so funny and priceless to see Matt Hancock being grilled. She was incredibly rude lol and he was visibly bristling. I think he found that really hard but what I don’t like about him is he doesn’t seem to be able to be real or vulnerable with the others. Like he is one dimensional? Forever a politician I suppose .

Just catching up.

From "Matty Babe" to "You Weasle Faced Cunt" in less than 2 minutes.

Half of the UK would pay good money to be able to tell Matt Hancock that to his face.

So good I had to rewind it and watch it again.

Lottapianos · 30/10/2023 17:56

'I think he found that really hard but what I don’t like about him is he doesn’t seem to be able to be real or vulnerable with the others'

I agree. His second grilling from Chris and Foxy went better than the first but they obviously still didn't trust him. Then the interrogation with Debs - yikes! He really did not play that one well. And plenty more where that came from next week by the look of things 🤦🏻‍♂️

Poor Amber. She had been doing so brilliantly, it's a shame to VW so close to the end, not that I blame her. I was shouting at the screen telling Perri to stop laughing in Dilksy's face!

I totally agree. He doesn't seem to have much of a personality... I'm surprised 'Debs' called him a cunt. (Maybe not, though... 😂)
