Just started watching it!

Finished episode 1.

Izzy is the new Barnett.

Uche is a judgy twat - hauling Aaliyah over the coals for cheating only to reveal HE has changed too “Oh but I was 18” 🙄

Just started it too. Off with a sick kid so binge watching!
Agree Izzy is the new Barnett but seems like less of a player. I like him.
Uche was horrible. Big red flag. He will be a controlling arsehole. Run now while you can.
Why are the men always younger than the women. This problem arises every year! Why have they not learnt?
I like the fireman and blonde one as a couple. They seem sweet together. Just wish her pretty face wasn’t ruined by lip fillers.

Definitely all the women have been seduced by Izzy and need to widen their horizons

Johnie shouldn't be going on about her being a walking red flag, she's not. She's loved, she ended a relationship due to her ex being on drugs, she married, so what? She just doesn't have a very good picker. And what's Izzy getting cold feet about now exactly?

I think it's too much choice and he's viewing it as baggage

OK have finished this block. So talking about what’s happened so if not finished this block don’t read any further…..

I still get bad vibes from Uche. I think he could be emotionally abusive. I really don’t like Lydia. I think she is so fake and she has latched on to Aaliyah and Uches relationship in order to try and control it. She hates that he rejected her. She isn’t into the guy she has picked at all and she will stab Aaliyah in the back the first chance she gets.

Really gutted that Chris didn’t give Johnnie a chance. But respect him for that. Don’t think she knows what she wants. Would have nice to see the relationship triangle/ quadrant with Izzy and Stacy unfold at the honeymoon stage and let them really work out who should be with who if at all. But I suspect they will shoe horn it in anyway later in the series.

The couples going to honeymoon stage seem pretty boring. Jared and Taylor seem like the only genuine couple. Wish they had focused on a few more couples as there looked like there had been a few more connections. They did this last time. I would prefer more couples to be followed but in not so much depth as it doesn’t get a bit boring towards the end of the series all the talking and family meeting.

We also have the same old issue of the men being younger than the women again. I just don’t know why on earth you would send a 24 year old man onto a show that is supposed to end in marriage, where the
majority of the women are around the age of 30. It’s setting them up for a fall.

I really really dislike Lydia. Describing Uche's house etc was too much, she should leave Aaliyah to discover. She doesn't have an attraction to Milton and is using him to stay on the show.

Thank God Aaliyah doesn't have to put up with Uche or Lydia anymore.

First impressions wow there are some stunning women in there. The men are a bit blah.

Probably don't read this unless you've watched all four episodes that are out at the moment....

I just can't warm to Johnnie, in fact anyone in there who flips back to their second choice (who they've already dumped) when no 1 rejects them is just staying on for tv sake...or hoping for some action with them at the retreat thing? Also don't like her then bad mouthing Izzy when she found out he had proposed to ...thingy...the blonde one...(yes, I'll get there with names eventually!).

Little Lionel Richie (Milton) is going to get done dirty by Lydia...there is clearly still mileage between her and Uche - why else was he crying telling aliyah about it and yes, I'm bloody pleased Aliyah has walked away but pissed it appears she is still going to give him time of day (as per the 'next time' kind of outro we saw).

There seem to be an awful lot of people in there we haven't seen anything of, but I'm sure in the past we have focused on more than 4 couples at the retreat - will we see the rest in the next few eps I wonder? Apparently another 3 drop on 29 Sep...I'm waiting!

Yes it was, I'm sure in the past we have seen a lot more pod action...seems a shame but perhaps they have their formula and are sticking to it!

Totally agree about the men being too young for the women again. Felt like Milton had applied for too hot to handle or something and was reallocated to make up the numbers.

Didn't like Jonnie, the way she talked about her previous marriage failing was odd. I was glad Chris didn't seriously consider taking her back. He'll find someone on the outside in no time.

I loved the Lydia Uche twist. The way Lydia instantly started with the territory marking , pissing contest was hilarious. Wondered if she had seen Uche's application and banged down the producers door to let her in too.
Shame Aaliyah didn't have other options, Uche was such a condescending prick, and I was glad she had an out and I really loved the ghosting in the pods rather than giving him more time to do one of his speeches.

Agree that they whittled down the stories even quicker this time and we barely saw anyone after the initial talk about looks and body insecurity.

Taylor and JP are the only couple i see getting married.

I think I’m on the last of the block. Lydia is a pain in the butt. I like Stacey.

Lydia is a right little stirrer isn’t she! And I agree she doesn’t give a shit about Milton.

Im really glad Aaliyah left. I wouldve done the same. But i feel like shes quite soft and Uche will talk his way around when they meet.

I find Izzy really handsome but theres something a bit feminine about the way he talks. I didnt like Stacy at first but I really warmed to her when she was comforting Lydia.

Im sooo glad Chris didnt accept Jhonnies back track and he didnt allow himself to be the second choice.

The ‘coming next’ looked very exciting! Seems like Izzy is a bit of a tart.

Yes despite the lack of chemistry for most the couples, I'm enjoying this a lot more than the last season and there seems to be plenty of drama to come.

The last season was OK, but Zack really gave me the creeps to the point he ruined the show completely

They will never match season 1 will they

They can't recapture the magic of Season 1 precisely because they keep trying too hard IMO
