Just started watching it!

Finished episode 1.

Izzy is the new Barnett.

Uche is a judgy twat - hauling Aaliyah over the coals for cheating only to reveal HE has changed too “Oh but I was 18” 🙄

Izzy dodged a bullet !

This season was hard to watch in places. Stacy and Izzy laying into Johnnie was just nasty and vicious, especially as Johnnie hadn’t said a word against them. Who hasn’t fallen for a smooth talking bad boy, and ignored the decent, honest guy? Izzy dumped her the moment she said she liked him and dumped the other guy for him. I think her revenge is that she did end up with the best looking, nicest guy there.

I think the Uche/Lydia stalking thing was fake drama to get them more screen time. Ditto blazing rows. Lydia showed no interest in him at all in there - not the actions of a stalker. Apologies to Uche- but at times he seemed like a robot reading a script- just because of his speech patterns.

I felt sorry for Taylor - trying to act normal on camera with someone who didn’t speak at all. This year was strange- very few matches; people happy to hang out and not find love.

Agree with many of the posts above re bad behaviour. Reading now of sexual assault makes it clear why there were so few couples.

It’s funny how we see ourselves and how others see us. Uc he, who was so keen to put other people down, came across as cold and humourless. Did he even smile?

In contrast, Lydia was warm, bubbly and cheerful. She probably was playing up the language mistakes for laughs, but being on camera and having something funny to say isn’t easy. I do think that she seemed quite genuine with Milton. He was so calm and mature they worked well together.

Interesting bit of karma for Izzy. After rejecting johnie just as she’d given herself to him, he gets treated by Stacy in the same way. Think he had the measure of her thought in the end. I can’t find anything nice to say about her. Hope she finds the sugar daddy she’s looking for!

I initially thought Izzy said yes to save Stacey's feelings, as it was obvious there wouldn't be a marriage. So the way he laid into her after surprised me. I agree with pp he had the measure of her and she strung him along for airtime.

I can't see those rich Texas guys going for Stacey now she's been on the show and shown her bitchy and dramatic sides.

Funnily enough, she and Uche might have actually been a good match.l had they connected in the pods.

Stacey was never going to marry Izzy. She never even considered it seriously for one moment from the time she understood his financial situation and job prospects . That’s why she just felt relieved when it was done, as she knew all along she had to tell him. She wasn’t going to marry some insurance salesman. Even though she’s a pt working for daddy and being supported by him.

and Izzy nailed it earlier in the season when he said Stacey made him feel like he wasn’t good enough for her. He felt that way as She didn’t ever consider him good enough for her.

If he had been loaded she would have married him in a shot. Even her own mother tried to tell her he was a lovely genuine guy. But she wants powerful and wealthy. And her dad also wants her to marry wealthy as he’s sick of paying for her and recognises the beast.

i genuinely think if he’d picked johnie they would have had a better chance of making it. Instead he didn’t then publicly attacked, belittled and bullied her. So I’m fairly sure she’s thinking he can cry her a river.

I can't fathom that Lydia and Milton will make it long term.

Once onto the second episode but that Uche was an absolute prick to Aaliyah. Yes cheating is not good at all but he had no right berating her like that. The way he spoke to her was shocking, there was a coldness in his voice and manner.
Then the whole 'oh well I was 18 and only kissed another girl so THAT'S different.' Urgh.. I'm glad she left the pod.

It was a lame series. I like Lydia and Milton a lot but not together. Cant see that working. Stacy is a horror show, why did she even bother going through all this? What was the point? Izzy has had a horribly traumatic cult-based upbringing and needs therapy. The producers have tried their best since they've had to cut out another couple but basically it's just boring.

Watching the reunion now. Shocked already at Milton and Lydia ! Happy for them though

Agree totally shocked they're still together. I'm still not over them saying yes.
I'm also shocked by the amount of boob Lydia has on display, what a weirdly cut dress.

I found it incredibly annoying that the reunion was so.. civilised. Everyone was quiet while each person said their piece.
I mean it made them look very respectful, but I would have loved to hear other couples opinions about other couples.

Johnie and Chris also shocked me. They seemed very friendly with their whispered conversation. But in almost a nice way? I do hope they and their partners are actually just good decent friends and nothing is still between them.

not surprised Uche didn’t show. He’s been dragged through the mud. Possibly believing Lydia a bit more now. I don’t think Milton or his family would be fooled by her 1.5 years on. They seemed like a very skeptical family and would have the measure of her if she wasn’t genuine. Possibly just a misrepresented on the show.

Definitely this @Poorlittlebug ! I thought there was gonna be more drama with the reunion. I kind of wish Uche had been there to explain himself! He was so gaslighty in the series.

I was surprised Uche didn't show, given how much he likes to talk over people and give his opinions.

My favourite part of the reunion was everyone's faces united against JP when he tried to explain his behaviour towards Taylor.
Never thought Stacey and Johnnie would ever agree on anything but they were both clearly team Taylor.

Milton is very mature and level-headed, he handled the conversation with Uche so well.
