Just started watching it!

Finished episode 1.

Izzy is the new Barnett.

Uche is a judgy twat - hauling Aaliyah over the coals for cheating only to reveal HE has changed too “Oh but I was 18” 🙄

These two really confused me. She kept going on and on about stuff a lot and constantly asking him questions all through the honeymoon. That would definitely so me talking. However he was a bit sledgehammer like with his make up revelations.

I've one left to watch today. Just can't stop.

Felt like Uche was really horrible in that phonecall.

Lydia is one messy manipulative person. Dear dear.

I'm tempted to rewatch the first few again. It takes me far too long to remember their names so I can't click it all together.

Can't help but think Milton will get fed up of Lydias constant "jokes" about his age.

God this series is dull. I don't understand all the post pod drama. Izzy was a twat to Jonnie, there was no need for it. Stacey is a mean spoilt princess.

Uche is very intense and yes she probably did stalk him a bit (who doesn't check out someones socials) I have a feeling he blew it all up to make her look bad. If she was a bunny boiler, why was he shagging her back in the Feb? Something doesn't ring true. Although I do think she's odd and was totally out of order with A..my conclusion is those two are as bad as each other.

Jp was very, very dull and strange..the make up thing!! can't believe she didn't tell him the dressing as Captain America was icky. Covering up a lack of personality by complaining about make up, fooled no one.

Poor baby Milton.

I thought Johnnie was nice in the pods but my goodness I changed my opinions. The one who was almost with Uche had a lucky escape.

Just starting the last episode. Uche is an absolute dick.

I thought what Johnie (Joanie? Johnnie? How does one say it in an English accent?!) said to the two different men didn’t conflict at all.

Izzy was the pattern of emotionally unavailable men. Chris was the safe bet who she knew would treat her well but she wasn’t sure she’d fall in love with.

I know on LIB people say ‘I love you’ after 0.4 seconds but surely it’s fine to act like, ya know a NORMAL PERSON and say out loud that love might not actually come. Look at JP and Taylor!

Poor Johnie, Izzy was a dick. I wish though they’d have insisted they get engaged and come back in the experiment like Yack, sorry Zach, and Bliss did last year

They've had to involve the randoms because they've only got two couples. One of whom is not believable

It is surprising how few couples there are. I thought Izzy and Uche were both awful when speaking to Johnie and Lydia at the party. Why they feel the need to dump these women and then insult them I don't know. I think only Johnie and Chris have potential but I think he would struggle to get past being second best.

Someone on tiktok said there were 4 other engagements that were not shown. Which seems ridiculous, given how shit the couples we have are.

Uche and Lydia both annoying and probably really ideal for one another! I have no doubt she saw the application and applied...probably dropped a hint to production who rubbed their hands together with glee...

WTF happened with JP and Taylor? He did seem to go a bit cold on her really early, I thought maybe he didn't like her with make up and then he was all ugh fake lashes etc. Weird. Get rid.

Johnnie...crawled back to Chris to stay in the game, where have we seen that before! I can't like her, there is something I can't quite work out about her.

The only likeable person is Lionel Ritchie Junior...aka Milton. Poor guy...take thems long legs and run....run for the hills!

Uche (what a terrible insta user name he has) has put up a bunch of stories about the show. Some are coming up to 24hours.

Just watched the makeup bit..

Anyone else think JP has autism? He's seriously awkward in social situations, he either avoids eye contact or stares blankly, he has no expression on his face, he can't express how he feels i.e when Taylor asked him how he is feeling he said 'sweaty' and then something else which is not a feeling, he can't engage in reciprocal conversation. It probably explains why he was most comfortable in the pod.

Personally I just thought he was an arsehole 🤣

I don't know. I know plenty of autistic people including my DH (who also has social anxiety and is introverted) and none of them are like JP.
to me, JP came across as someone who just isn't much of a talker. and perhaps never learned to deal with conflict. he doesn't seem to be the sharpest knife in the drawer either. I wouldn't put a label on it.

Not to label him, but I am always interested in understanding why people are the way they are/ why they behave as they do. I have a keen interest in psychology and work in a similar line of work. I know not all autism looks the same hence it is a spectrum but he seems to have the main characteristics. I can bet if he hasn't already got a diagnosis he would certainly get one, it might help him to understand why he is the way he is and why he struggles in relationships. His self esteem seems to be on the floor. I do think he is an arsehole too btw!

God they're all awful and need plenty of therapy except milton, who I would marry if I was not old enough to be his mother.

JP - yes I considered autism too. Wouldn't be the first military man - can work well to be in a highly structured rule-bound situation where social skills aren't really needed.

Maybe he does - I'm not an expert. He didn't show any of the behaviour Im used to seeing (apart from DH, I have quite a few male adult friends from my job and my friend's husband). But all are highly intelligent and may mask a lot better.

I'm so glad it's not just me. I've finished ep5 and don't care about any of the couples that made it to the holiday so have quit watching the show which is something I very rarely do. Jp and Taylor are awkward and forced. Lydia seems like she is performing for the cameras and Izzy and Stacey seem so false.

I'm on episode 6. Is this it? Only two couples going forward in the experiment? This is going to be a snooze-fest.

I think they will feature Johnie and her guy and maybe some more drama with Izzy. Maybe uche and Alisa again.

Pleased Stacy called Izzy out in his over promising BS. Have no idea why he’s going crazy at Johnie.

However Rich Stacy how simply HAS to fly first class, if turns out…is a gym instructor? Must be nice of live off Mummy and Daddy and then tell their partner they need to bankroll them

Contains thoughts from todays episodes. Being off work is so bad for me.

I think Stacey was so determined to win the guy the other girls wanted that she failed to find out he was a total dud. And now she's angry that Johnnie isn't saddled with him so had to lash out.

I also kind of agreed with Johnny that Stacey wasn't being herself in the pods, I'm also aware this is manipulated reality tv and we might have seen early Stacey and Izzy convos portrayed as late on ones.

None of that negates that Izzy is a liar and can't keep his lies straight so pulls out the tears.

I loved Milton's family, I loved that they had the balls to call it fake on camera.
Milton seeing the light? Has he always known and just played the long game for maximum tv exposure. I don't know.
