@Eastie77Returns - I don’t know anyone who looks like Uncle Malcolm who looks more like a modern day version of the Child Catcher. I’d be very surprised if Albie doesn’t mention bus/uncle Malcolm/Princess.

It is odd that Albie hasn't mentioned his Nan taking him on ' an adventure'
Considering his normally in the kiddie cupboard or nursery ( I assume he goes to one when Sharon works) he doesn't go anywhere usually.
It would be a long trip for a small child
I can only think she called a cab , but it wasn't made clear ( or her relatives have moved over the back now and she walked him there in the pushchair ?)

I guess that he is isn't three yet and memories are hard to recall completely at that age ?
( disclaimer , I'm not a teacher or any kind of child expert and my own are close to 30 now , so it's hard to remember what they were like at Albie's age !)
Ds 2 was very chatty and he might have recalled a bus / train / car , but ds 1 would probably have struggled to remember a lot of it I think? He was less likely to tell you things anyway.
