Alison has been presenting on This Morning for years. She interviewed Harrison Ford who is known for being very difficult and a closed book and the interview went viral.

Does the Hollywood Hug signify the revitalised, softer Bake Off? Liking it so far, some good contestants and I like Alison's warmth.

Not really - they haven't just chosen someone who was on telly one summer over 20 years ago and has done nothing since.

It's so hard going home in week one as they all seem to be making great bakes.

It seems very close, I think Dana was a bit unlucky.

I think he looks like the police officer from Sister Act. Definitely an actor.

I'm liking the vibe of it this year, there's a definite warmth that was missing the past couple of series.

Good mix of bakes plus no bakers I'm finding irritating just yet.

Paul's got some piercing blue-eyes "competition" from at least 2 of the bakers.
