I'm here. I love the pairing show so have no desire for spoilers, or for the "Sunday" show so I'll be sticking it out on this thread.

I don't particularly mind being spoiled on the partnerships (they just used to announce them in advance years ago anyway), and which pro doesn't have a partner was never a mystery. But I don't want spoilers for the Sunday so I'm happier over here!

No the thread was just for spoilers but chats have spiralled off - still here and was thinking this yesterday but I'm not thread police so....

The "spoiler period" is so long between the launch show filming and broadcast, so it's probably inevitable to get a divide at this stage.

Once the series has started there will only be about 19 hours of spoiler period per week - but the spoileristas will need to be disciplined about switching back to the main thread once the Sunday show is over in order to maintain the inclusive spirit of the thread.

Speaking as a DS spoiler fan, I've also got some qualms about how a MN spoiler thread will operate in practice, but I guess we can always try it and see. I'm sure everyone will play nicely, do their best and mostly keep a sense of proportion.

I'm still here as well as on the Spoiler thread. Once the series actually begins, I'll probably just post here.

I think it will need a thread title change — so SPOILER is very obvious at the beginning of it.

Perhaps posters on the spoiler thread would have to use the format

"SPOILER

What you want to write..."

for each post. Concentrate the mind a bit on what you're doing!

And if any slip through on hear hopefully any readers who don't want to be spoiled would stop at the bold bit.

I think the onus has to be on the people who want a spoiler thread.
