Just finished it. It was quite emotional to watch. I grew up loving Wham and George Michael and it bought back a lot of memories of those times.
George was such a lovely man and a huge talent, sadly gone way before his time.

ComputerInitiateJump · 05/07/2023 19:03

And the friendship between George and Andrew is so pure and genuine 😥

NooNakedJacuzziness · 05/07/2023 19:07

Going to watch it this evening - I was a huge Wham! fan, played Fantastic to death, can't wait!

smalbert · 05/07/2023 19:07

Have I missed it?

Snozzlemaid · 05/07/2023 19:13

It's on Netflix so not going anywhere for some time I would imagine

Forestdweller11 · 05/07/2023 19:15

Just having tea and then going to watch. Told my 16 year old about it and she was ' who's wham?' Feel like I've failed as a parent .

And so you should 😉

BigBagOfElbows · 05/07/2023 19:46

I watched this today and really enjoyed it. It was good to be reminded that without Andrew Ridgeley there wouldn't have been a Wham. So much nostalgia. Definitely worth a watch.

Thefieldisfallow · 05/07/2023 19:48

Loved it and pleased Andrew Ridgeley was rightly recognised for his role. A bittersweet watch, lots of lovely memories and a huge dollop of sadness too.

Don't know how you managed that, mine had no escape!

ComputerInitiateJump · 05/07/2023 20:02

Mine know who Wham are but only because of Last Christmas! 🎅

spurs4ever · 05/07/2023 20:05

Watched it and loved it. Great to hear both of them talking about what a special time it was for them and it was such a genuine friendship. Quite emotional x

Forestdweller11 · 05/07/2023 21:39

Just finished watching. Fabulous. In tears.

Just watched it. What an amazing documentary, just fabulous.
I had no idea that George was so humble and self conscious, what a sad loss to music.

grayhairdontcare · 05/07/2023 21:55

It was fantastic!
The music, fashion, friendship and nostalgia.
I loved them them and still love them now !

NooNakedJacuzziness · 05/07/2023 21:59

What a feel good watch, loved it. Such lovely memories of two fabulous people

PolaDeVeboise · 05/07/2023 22:01

It was brilliant, so emotional. George was absolutely beautiful- I miss him so much.

NooNakedJacuzziness · 05/07/2023 22:02

They were only around for 4 years, amazing how much they achieved and how much they changed in such a short time

CheeseCakeSunflowers · 05/07/2023 22:08

I really enjoyed it, it made me wonder what Andrew is doing now and if they kept in touch after the split.

Germolenequeen · 05/07/2023 22:11

Bloody brilliant 👏 Really nostalgic - lovely memories 💓
Andrew was always my favourite & I'm delighted he's finally getting the recognition he deserves after the all the stick he's taken over the years.

Appalonia · 05/07/2023 22:14

Can't wait to see this, loved Wham, the song, Nothing Looks the Same in the Light, is one of my most favourite songs ever, so moving, amazed it's never been covered.

LondonPainter · 05/07/2023 22:24

I watched this today. George was always my favourite but it was lovely that Andrew got his fair credit as he seemed to be more proactive in creating the group.

Loved them all getting pissed while filming Last Christmas but got a bit teary too at the memories. As pp said, it's amazing that they created so much amazing music in only 4 years
