I think Cain does find out well before Debbie has Sarah, I remember Zak locking him in a barn to stop him killing Andy 🤣 and Debbie being made to live with the Dingles away from Andy

I am watching open mouthed at this storyline. I wasn't watching Emmerdale when it was first shown, and I've no idea how it culminates. I assume Steph can't get away with this elder abuse. And kidnapping Shelley - who, yes, was as thick as two short planks, to venture down the stairs to the cellar. Has she forgotten how Steph locked her into a cupboard, knowing Shelley was claustrophobic!

Ah ok @HurdyGurdy19. I can't remember what happened either but Emily saw Shelley going in so maybe something will click there.

I noticed that Emily saw Shelly's arrival so no doubt Steph will come up with some excuse for her non appearance.
I wish somebody would just barge past her up the stairs and rescue Alan from her clutches. Awful vile woman

Did they show what became of Shelley after Stef took her away? I missed some bits. Why didn't Shelley give Stef a proper walloping the silly woman?

No they didn't show anything. Steph just came back and you saw her putting Shelly's stuff out for the bins and hosing down her car.

They love reusing names don't they: Chloe, Dawn, Ethan. (They even had another Daz who thankfully fecked off.) It gets a bit confusing going between this and the current day thread sometimes.

The acting is so much better in Classic. It makes you laugh or cry.
