I agree that everyone does act rather oddly in soaps and the story line with Lily is very annoying

He is grooming the whole family. Freddy was his original target but then Lily presented herself. The best we can hope for is that they flash the £50 at the family conference and their failure to adequately account for it raises alarm bells, the truth comes out and Theo loses his job.
I think it's quite believable that L & R think £50 is a useful amount to support a baby - they are children with no real understanding of the world. I can't believe that Stacey would really allow her daughter to continue this pregnancy. It wouldn't be hard to convince a teenager that a baby is not a good idea.

I'm not sure about Cindy being back. There were other alive characters that could have been Rose and would have been more convincing.

What I don't get is the timescale

She apparently died 25yrs ago giving birth to Cindy junior in prison

She then ended up in Spain on I assume witness protection Met George and had 2 kids quite quickly

Not sure how old Anna and Gina are meant to be

She then left them 9/10yrs ago

So she has 6 kids / 2 dead

And Ian hated her guts so Again can't work Out how they are meant to be back together

Looking at EastEnders posts on Twitter, it seems I'm in a tiny minority who'd avoided seeing spoilers about this everywhere. I was vaguely aware that Cindy was due to be resurrected, but I didn't make the connection. I didn't realise she'd been undead long enough to be the mother of the Knight girls.
