Counting down to the long awaited day!

I was really hoping she would take it off when Rash came home and give it to him with an explanation of what happened- so that if it happened again, he would understand why she might be wearing something, and that it’s a risk this might happen if Rash employs other carers in future. But this is Casualty land where people don’t make good choices!

Faith was driving me up the wall with her staggering arrogance in that episode. She continued treating patients while taking drugs and stole drugs from the ED - how dare she expect to come back and step into her old role without any loss of trust. Ignoring the conditions of her being there - treating patients without supervision - and having the audacity to say her addiction problems were an asset to the ED 🙄 that could certainly be true in time - as Dylan’s alcoholism issues are - but only if she actually moves through it and works to regain the lost trust and proves that she’s genuinely in recovery. But right now, she is too busy trying to show off and bolster her own ego to be truly safe or useful.

I get the feeling that the Rash/Rida storyline will go down the line of Rash's dad will remember/like Ria and not Rash leading to Rash being angry/jealous that Rida is effectively taking his place.

Depending on how long the plan is for this storyline think the necklace might be:

• long version: she'll put pack the necklace without a problem then Ashok will contunue to give more jewellery/things to her and she puts it back. Repest until Rash sees putting it back and jumps to the wrong conclusion.

• short version: Rida ends up heading home with it as she cant put it bsck and Rash spots on her and jumps to the wrong conclusion. Or failing that Ashok asks her where it is, she shows it to him and then Rash jumps to wrong conclusion

How is Rida managing to care for Rash’s dad AND (presumably) work full time as a nurse?

I reckon she's using the same time machine that people use to swan off without working their notice periods.

I only realised today that Casualty has been back on since last December so now I’m binge watching through 6 episodes! Heaven!

I’ve just finished the episode where Shah is leaving for her too surgery and I’m also wondering why that means leaving work completely?

I’m praying there isn’t some kind of Natalia / Iain fling being scripted but I have a bad feeling there will be….

Drug addicts daughter, seems she wouldn't stop crying so they taped her into a cupboard. If they'd not gone back to find the addict the kid would have died.

Donna's not coming back - that was in the news at the time when the character was sentenced. In true Holby tradition, she will never be mentioned again.

Did anyone actually like the slow motion in this week's?
I didn't like the slow motion and don't think it added anything positive to it.
And thought Ian was overreacting in this episode

I found the slow motion made serious scenes quite comic, unfortunately. Especially Jan and Teddy wheeling that patient in in slo-mo.

That Massive Attack song always makes me think of House - they used it as the title music.
