I'm sick of the sob stories/ and the fact everything must be about equality and diversity.
I really liked the singer who also had the illusions going on at the same time e.g. piano disappearing etc, reminded me of attraction who won, nice voice too...Yet the judges st all over him saying it was cheesy and cringe.
Before gushing and gold buzzing a group all about equality and diversity... Because that's not cheesy?? They almost shouldn't be allowed to introduce themselves, just come on, perform and be judged purely on performance.
Exactly this. I have no problem with people under the diversity and acceptance and tolerance umbrella going through, but it all seems so contrived and snoozeworthy, and so predictable...... 🙄 You just KNOW if the act ticks all the boxes, they will go through. And the 'oooh but we've got no more golden buzzers' bullshit was farcical. It was soooo obvious they would press another golden buzzer for the right box ticking act.
And I don't mind people coming from other countries to perform and star in BGT as it is the biggest in the world over here (apparently!) But they need to change the name of the show. This year it should have been called 'The World's Got Talent ...'
And yeah I also liked the singer with a great voice who did illusions, and was dismayed when they called him cheesy - and then mocked him. That was proper talent. And yet they flailed and fussed and pushed out crocodile tears, over a bunch of diverse teens and young adults who did an average dance routine. Just makes me sick TBH.
