I agree, he could pull loads of young girls especially in his mechanics overalls 😆 there’s no way he would marry Sharon, much as she’s quite alluring and a strong personality. Sharon is desperate for a family but not for him I reckon, I think underneath she knows he’s just a kid really who won’t keep his promises. But after losing Denny she just wants that unit to protect and keep close.

As for Phil, is he still with Kat? I can’t keep up with him. Personally I think him and Shirl were a good match

Sonia in relationships is always a disaster. She does seem to take anyone who gives a teeny bit of interest.

When I see her on screen I often think of that scene in Ali G indahouse where he is having sex with Julie (Kellie Bright aka Linda of all people) and is saying Sonia Jackson from Eastenders repeatedly to try and calm himself down to last longer. Found it funny when I was young but now I see it’s quite mean really. She has aged well (or just got work and whatever done to ensure that)

Ken is one dimensional, the smouldering look is because he squints.
He was Tiger in Benidorm and looked the same.
It has annoyed me this love and marriage thing has come from Sharon.
He gives her nothing other than the obvious that's not love.
In RL Sharon would remain friends and co-parent Albie.
She's far too mature to be with a 24 year old as a life partner and all the hitting/ grabbing stuff is ridiculous.
They are turning her into the matriarch figure Suki was in the beginning.

<ahem> somewhat off topic I know, buuuuut, I always thought 'hung like a donkey' was errrm not a compliment whereas 'hung like a horse' meant that a chap was well endowed - have I had it wrong all these years? Just caught up with last week's episodes. I think the actors who play Lola, Honey, Billy and Jay are brilliant. Billy had me shed a tear. I'm so glad they gave Billy a family away from the main Mitchell's and this storyline just shows what a great actor Perry Fenwick is just a shame it has to be the one it is.

And when Alfie isn't doing his cheeky chappy bit he's actually okay. His scenes with Linda are nice.

I don't mind Alfie. I know he can be annoying , but he has a big heart and mostly harmless
I know he scarred Kat for life once in a fire , but she seems to have moved on and you hardly see the scars now!

Ohhh I love Alfie , yes he's an irrritating little scrote at times but he's even worse in the Classic Eastenders at the moment .
He does (the Alfie character) have a way with everyone , a little chat or one liner .

What happened with Rocky’s secret wife, the one he forgot to divorce? Last I remember he told Sonia about it and she threatened to tell Kathy. I also like him and they make a nice couple. Very rare on EE so obviously there will be some drama or other that breaks them up again.

I thought Kathy reminiscing about Martin as a baby was really sweet although not random that she got so drunk (but looked fresh as a daisy in the cafe the next day).

Sharon and Ken - ridiculous couple and makes no sense. She was about 16 when EE started in 1985 so she’ll be in her sixties before he hits 30? The scriptwriters will prob rewrite history though and have her celebrating her 50th in a few years.

Yes I thought Jo Cotton (Rocky's wife) did not actually sign the divorce papers, as we never actually saw her get a pen out. Next thing we saw, she just dumped the envelope on Rocky and walzted out of the pub, whilst he didn't even bother looking inside to see if she had signed or not.

As Kathy is part if Phil's Faaaaaamily he'll get Ritchie to sort it .
On the day of the Banns readings , it'll come to light and Ritchie (with some heavy mob in tow , possibly Ken, 'cos he owes Phil a favour ) will pay Jo a visit and make her wish she'd never heard the name Cotton.

I’ve always wondered what area of law Ritchie is supposed to specialise in because the Mitchells call her to deal with every kind of issue you can think of: murder, robbery, drug trafficking, fraud, adoption. Phil must have her on retainer, she’s never more than a phone call away.
