Wow....every time I think they can't possibly find worse 'guests' (I cannot believe these people actually pay, or pay full price) we land at a new low. There is now way these people have enough class to be on that yacht, in fact given the reaction to sailing I'm not sure they had any idea what they were in for 😂
Although I do think Aperol tastes like cough medicine....

They asked for a mixology class and moaned about it, they asked for a 7 course dinner and moaned about it, one said she didn’t eat oysters but it was on her preference sheet, they basically moaned about everything, had faces like slapped arses the whole time and I actually can’t believe one of them left a bag of vomit in the corridor, that just vile, gross and absolutely disgusting.

It looks like Captain Glen is in for a moan fest from these vile people too with the lowest tip ever given?

I suspect they'd made requests for things they thought sounded extravagant without understanding the reality. Who on earth would want a seven course meal paired with cocktails for example? No wonder one of them puked. And some of them obviously had no idea what a sailing yacht would be like: limited space in some cabins (necessarily, because of the design of sailing yachts), no pool (!), and actual sailing.

Yeah 7 cocktails in a couple of hours is insane… A really naive request.

Ignorant classless people, what did they expect when they asked for 7 courses accompanied by 7 cocktails? As for healing over whilst sailing, do they not understand the basics of a wind powered boat ? As for the bag of sick, just an insult to the whole crew.

I am amazed that none of the stews know how to remove blood stains from the couch. Cold water and soap probably would have gotten rid of most of it when it was fresh but even dried blood can be easily removed with hydrogen peroxide.

Daisy did a Tik Tok as so many were saying just this. Apparently it was a combination of the material (a wool mixture)) and the colour being off white which meant Hydrogen peroxide was impossible. It would have ruined the material and bleached parts of the coach. The covers were not removable so couldn't be washed in the machine. She did say it was all an odd choice for a boat.

She did say she's very used to removing blood stains, it was just more complicated than usual.

So there's our answer

Gary fell out with the boat owners and was let go according to Reddit. So no more Gary on BD then...

How about BD Academy with Capt Sandy and Kate training yachtie wannabes?

Or a BD Rivals where old crew are the Guests and two teams take turns to do the best service and food to earn the best tip?

I did enjoy the programme more when it had an edge of work hard in the sun over Garry hooks up with 19yr olds every Season...

Oh Keith...keith keith keith...you silly boy...you are now stuck in the Daisy-Gary triangle...are triangle far more feared than the bermuda one...you should have stayed well away. Your only saving grace could be if Gary gets kicked off after playing up at the end of the next episode!

No. Is it up to date? Should I? I never really got into it because when we had winter house and a couple of BD at the same time I didn't need to....

New eps are dropping weekly for us atm. I think if you watch winter house then more will make sense with Austen and Craig but Series one is just crazy with real life drama mixed in with the produced stuff, more so than any of the other similar shows.

I think Daisy was/is about 36/37, I’m not sure about Keith, I’d have said a few years younger, maybe early 30’s.

He's 30......I could be his mother.....i will go and wash my dirty mouth, eyes and brain out and behave appropriately......although he obviously likes the older woman.

There is talk he's lined up to replace Gary. Apparently, according to random Internet pages with no credibility.

These stews could whine about anything!

Those two stews are really pissing me off, they moan constantly about having to do their bloody jobs and an hours sleep difference.
As for Gary, I don’t think Glen will sack him this late in the season, I think they’ve only got two or three charters left but I think he may have shot himself in the foot for coming back for another season. He was such an arsehole, you’d think he would realise two drinks means two drinks, and they way he spoke to Glen, so disrespectful.

I’m actually relieved this season has now finished, I was just not liking it. Gary is still an arse, although he appears to realise he has a problem with alcohol, I’m not convinced that he will actually change anything about how much he drinks.
Daisy seemed to hate this season too, hopefully it was just because of those two awful stews she had but she just seemed worn down by it all. I’m not sure she’ll be back if there’s another season of BDSY.

New season of BD Down Under starts next week, from The Seychelles with a few faces regular viewers will know. I’m looking forward to this one.

I think Gary was very lucky not too be kicked off the boat by Glen when he came back after drinking 9 drinks instead of 2 and then behaving like rude idiot.
He's obviously good at his job but no way could he captain a boat with all his issues. Glen was wrong to say he could step up without saying he needs to stop drinking as he's wrecking his future career.
