Diana is driving me up the wall. She refuses to do cabins as she wants to be on service.

However she can't make even basic cocktails but when given the chance to practice she storms off in a huff.

The chef is showing his age. Abandoning the galley be because he'd rather be swimming and having fun. Saying old people don't care about Birthday cakes and serving up a terrible one he bought. A Colin the caterpillar would have been better.

Clearly it was difficult to edit out Gary because he's still around quite a bit

Christ, I’m beginning to wonder who might be fired first; Emma, Cloyce or one of either Danni or Diana. The two stews are like children stomping their feet, Emma seems almost lazy and doesn’t seem to take too well to instructions but I can see her point with regard to the two stews and their attitudes, she just went about it the wrong way and at the wrong time. Cloyce thinks too highly of himself and is like a teenager who thinks he can do what he wants, he’s an idiot.

Next weeks’ trailer seems to show Gary back on his usual merry go round 🙄

Cloyce is embarrassing - the whole cake thing...I'd have been livid serving me up some bloody sara lee strudel or whatever it was. I still don't get what was wrong with Stew 1 and Stew 2 (nope, still no idea on names) saying Emma was being scary in the taxi - what did I miss?!

The 2 stews (D&D? I don’t know which is which either) seem to be quite sensitive in all directions.

Before he heated the cake it already looked like a mess. Like an aunt Bessie’s pudding that defrosted wrong. When he said he bought a cake, I thought it would at least be cake shaped!

That cake wasn’t exceptable. It was diabolical. A 5 year could of done better! He’s an arrogant arse! I hope he gets fired! As for those 2 stews acting like they are 2 years old. If you don’t want to work, leave!! You are stews and part of your work is doing cabins!! I would of lost the plot with them!! Emma is a nightmare too! What a crew they have this year. I wonder how many get fired before the end of the season. Maybe some leave of there own accord……

Actually I didn't think Gary was shown badly this episode. Except perhaps in his lack of direction on deck. Although sleeping on the job!!!!!

(Can I just sense check - was that Mediterranean style fish at the Japanese meal?)

I’m pretty sure it was a Mediterranean Sea bass that Cloyce cooked.

I agree about Gary and how he was shown this week, apart from getting with Danni and how stupid were they both to jump into the sea whilst drunk?

Danni is annoying me and they way she spoke to Keith when he spoke to her about being professional in front of the guests and her camera interview saying she’s not getting the attention she needs 🙄 he’s right in what he said and should count himself lucky that she’s turned her attention to Gary, they’re there to do a job.

Emma needs to be fired asap. She's just standing around looking bored, sleeping on the job, not picking up any of the tasks. She gives off no impression she actually wants to be there but gives off almost she feels entitled to be there. I'm surprised Daisy hasn't given it to her straight - she's been on yachts enough to know when a deckie isn't making it! Otherwise a very tame episode.

I too had hoped Daisy would say something about how to be pro active or use initiative. Emma is just pretty useless and seems to decide she’s not able to do something before she does it. It’s a shame because I’m always rooting for female deckhands!

Daisy has surprised me so far this season because she hasn’t taken Emma to one side to have a word about her attitude and what’s being said. I realise it’s probably not her place as she’s not her boss but she has so much experience of all areas of a yacht that I thought she would’ve done it as a friend.

Danni is also driving me nuts with her lack of work ethic and her bloody moaning about having to do the job she’s paid for, she’s more interested in getting the attention she thinks she deserves than being part of a team and realising her role is important in the overall success of each charter.

Emma love, it's just not the job for you.

Even I know how to do a clove hitch from a spattering of sailing trips 20 years ago.

If she was learning, that would be another matter, but she's not picking up ANYTHING.

And she has no initiative or go. The way she just went to casually get dressed when the boats were close.

She’s not a bad person but she’s not someone with awareness or drive and you kind of need both in that role for basic safety.

I actually don't think I've ever seen Gary looking quite so defeated, she clearly has had a really negative effect on him...or...is it down to some of the stuff that had been rumoured to be going on with him (did we decide it was this season?) He was really ruffled.

I know there's only so many times I'll show someone how to do something before I start to boil, but how hard would it have been to practice her knots...I mean if she did it every time she want for coffee and a cig she'd surely have become expert!

I’m just looking back and I can see articles from aug 2023 and then an article saying this series was filmed in aug/sep 23 so it’s possible.
