Late to the party so sorry if this has been mentioned before but BD is my guilty pleasure, especially Sailing Yacht. It always felt the more relaxed, rebellious, fun sibling to the others but this season was dire! If it wasn't for Daisy and Gary, it would have been insanely dull. We didn't even get to know the engineer guy!

Yes! And he seemed like and interesting guy! If he hadn’t bled everywhere and joined in the drag act we would have barely seen him. I assume it wasn’t an issue with him that they edited him out as much as possible.

Although I did enjoy that it wasn’t too high drama as some seasons have been that you hate everyone and will it to end lol.

I read somewhere that Gary got the sack after the season ended, disagreement with the boats owners apparently. Not sure how reliable this is, but added to the sexual allegations, I would imagine that Below Deck may not be so keen on having him back. It is all a bit samey anyway, "Gary gets drunk and hooks up with a much younger crew member " and "Gary gets jealous at Daisy having a bloke and declares his love" on repeat.

I’m looking forward to this one, I love Captain Jason, he’s a fun, fair captain who’s happy to get stuck into whatever is needed and he’s very easy on the eye too 😁

Lets hope so past two Seasons have been lacking really.

I'm looking forward to Down under too, Jason seems really decent as a captain and will get stuck into the grunt work when necessary.

Watched the first one this morning. Looks like we are in for lots of work based drama rather than just relationships which I have missed. The boat is massive! Also interesting dynamics. A bit of everyone doing things a bit wrong but Harry is MVP atm.

The new boat is HUGE! That's going to be knackering, they were all exhausted after just one day of service, so not good eh.

Also not good - having to work for Tsarina 😂she's too particular, I mean even micromanaging the crew meals. Feel sorry for the poor lad, be a miracle if she lets him cook for the guests.

Could be a fun season, I hope!

They need a dumb waiter, the food will be cold by the time they get it upstairs! Fabulous yacht though & I love the little balconies.

I suspect Tzarina & Lara are going to fall out soon & the galley will have a very tense atmosphere too.

As long as Gary doesnt arrive somehow and snog ALL the girls on a crew night out it looks good...

That boat is enormous. Production have obviously decided to up the drama by having fewer stews and deckhands than normal (even for smaller boats). A deck/stew is crazy when they are light in both categories. Google suggests that boat usually runs with a crew of 15.
The sous chef is also a weird addition for max 12 guests and a head chef who is used to working alone.

I'm so pleased Harry is there.
I like Tzarina - but she is treating him like a pot washer.
I predict the Bosun will be fired. My reasoning.....he's short. Yes that is shortest. I hope I live to eat my words.
The boat is like a Palace......can they cook higher up? Surely there is a second kitchen....what about an outside griddle?
Can't wait.
I think the beautiful pictures of underwater just make it all the more fun.

The Seychelles is somewhere I’d like to go so it’s going to be good to get a flavour of it.

It does look like someone gets fired but at this point, I can’t see a hint as to who it might be.

I reckon the sous chef will go. He's kind of chippy and I can see he is going to piss Tzarina off. Jason isn't going to fire her if one of them has to go.

I watched WWHL with Jason and Tzarina .....I agree sous chef won't make the season.
I also think Lara won't last based on comments they made.....
Nothing they said backs up my Bosun being fired theory!!

I am missing the Aesha/Captain Jason combination. They were great together.

The sous chef is not capable of approaching Tsarina in a way that doesn't get her back up. They just aren't at all seeing his role in the same way and they aren't listening to each other. That's going to implode mega fast. She can't delegate and is a control freak. He has a sense of entitlement that everyone will know he's amazing without him having to prove anything first. It just can't go well.

I do think he could make it work if he handled her better. Huffing and puffing and whining is not it.

It was interesting what she said on WWHL about it. She said because he wouldn’t say what food he was good at or struggled with she didn’t know where to put him and the the crew meal she was actually asking about in case he would be happy to do it for the guest but as he was off about it she didn’t ask him.

I don’t think she’s the best communicator and not sure if that’s just her story now.

He got narky when she asked what his strengths and weaknesses are. He’s young and self taught apparently (I think) and lacks understanding of what was being asked of him. It was a quite straightforward question but to be fair, Tzarina should perhaps have been a bit clearer with why she was asking.

I also suspect it won’t go well as he seems resentful that she’s head chef and she is micromanaging him, absolutely agree that clearer communication is key between both of them.

Omg I’ve just started the ep and sous chef in the first 5 mins is completely being a dick. Make your mind up mate!
