I don't think he's ever forgiven Clare or been genuinely interested in her. He was pissed off that she'd dared to go kiss someone else when he was an arse to her.

After the cc where he wrote leave, I thought it strange that when she took him to the crystal shop he embraced it all, bearing in mind how anti and condescending he'd been before.

His openness about how much he liked her when speaking to the ixperts. It just didn't sit right that he'd be so open and risk rejection. Very different to the original and very complex Jesse.

She's been surprised at his affectionate hugs and kisses in front of the cameras - because he doesn't do it off camera

The fact he went to Harrison when she confessed about the kiss - even Harrison was shocked he'd come to him.

And then throwing her under the bus at the dinner table.

He's a twat and I suspect he has more in common with Harrison than with anyone else.

Agree about Jesse. I really like Clare, and that was really mean to do what he did at the dinner table, totally blindsided her.

They will say it has all been a mistake and after BRONTË apologized to Harry for being wrong - they have made up with each other

Omg I’m just catching up on the Claire and Jesse dinner party and it’s too much they are both actual real people who are flawed and complex and it’s not working out. Total contrast to Harrison being a 24 carat Berkshire Hunt.

I didn’t think Jesse was particularly harsh to Claire at the dinner party? I think it was all just really honest. Think Claire knows he’s right so can’t really contradict him and Jesse is having a genuinely painful revelation.

I reckon I’d like Claire, she looks like she’d be a good mate.

I thought Claire saw he was doubting himself and endeavoured to make him feel wanted and loved. Even if no massive rip your clothes off vibes she wanted to make him feel good.

and she did. She was really sorry about the kiss and apologised is a really sincere way. I saw no such apology for the way he spoke to her at the beginning.
