The only problem I see with Duncan is that he, on the surface at least, supports Harrison. The other men, on the whole, seem able to see Harrison for who he is. They don't stand up to him (apart from Layton) which I see as a negative personally, but we do see them smirking at him or casting doubtful looks. But Duncan seems totally drawn in by Harrison. It's a small thing, but I actually would find that off-putting if I were partnered with him.

Wherethewildthymeblows · 13/04/2023 21:35

Oh crossed posts with you @MelsMoneyTree . I see we think the same way.

Honeyroar · 13/04/2023 21:39

Jesse and Claire have never looked to have much spark, to be fair. When they’ve kissed it has looked a bit like kissing a brother or friend.

Stressybetty · 13/04/2023 21:41

Catching up on tonight, Harrison neon shirt and white trousers combo gave me a real shock. Not your colour mate!

You're just saying that to put the rest of us off him so you can have him 😂😂

I don't think Duncan likes Harrison, I think he's just being diplomatic, he doesn't actually get involved with him. Layton only stands up to H because H bullshits about stuff Layton has/hasn't said. I'm pretty sure if H turned his venom towards Alyssa and Duncan, then Duncan would tell him where to go.

I’m not sure he supports him as such.

I think he just felt a bit awkward as he was sitting next to him. It was quite a short back pat. And he said nothing to go with it. And as he isn’t really a confrontational guy, I think it was more of an on the spot reaction, as opposed to him supporting Harrison.

Like the other boys, he hasn’t openly stood up against Harrison, but he also hasn’t openly said anything to support him either.

Exactly this

Honeyroar · 13/04/2023 21:54

Suddenly Hugo can speak!

Tayla would’ve been interesting paired with Harrison.

will there be many left at the commitment ceremony??

KHeathen · 13/04/2023 22:04

I've just realised that Mel reminds me of someone...

(I do like her but she really does look like this Muppet)

I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that Harrison had hit girlfriends in the past. He is just livid all the time.

I wish the men on MAFS were stronger and would stand up when somebody is behaving like Harrison does. The women have been very strong in comparison. Clare, Mel and Evelyn have been fantastic.

I’ve been thinking that since she appeared!🤣

@FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge

also have big nutcrackers.

You probably only need little ones...

As for Jesse - he must be very insecure to let Harrison get into his head and throw Claire under the bus like this. Jesse also has a short memory on how badly he treated Claire at the beginning of this experiment. If he's so ready to throw the words at her that he did at the dinner he doesn't deserve her. 🌹

Agree that Jesse was y nice to Claire at the beginning and switched off. She did try.

secretfreckle · 13/04/2023 22:33

I don't believe for a minute that Tayla flew back to Tassie.
That's just a line the producers are feeding us.
Ollie was great tonight, mocking Harrison's fake crying.
Harrison and Bronte were clearly only in it for the Instafame and when Harrison realised no-one believed it, he ended it. That's why Bronte isn't really that upset.

AllHopeandRainbows · 13/04/2023 22:36

Does anyone else find it frustrating that not enough people call Harrison out on his BLATANT lies arghhh 🤬 he’s makes me so angry. I hope he gets flamed at the commitment ceremony.

Stressybetty · 13/04/2023 22:37

Think something must be wrong with my eyes or my telly but Harrison's shirt looks orange to me not red!

JellyBeanFactory · 13/04/2023 22:38

I felt so angry watching tonight. In fact, Harrison behaviour almost frightened me, he was displaying the actions of a physical and emotional abuser. I was expecting him to be removed at some point. As someone else said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he hadn't been accused of this behaviour before. He needs to be locked up. Awful awful man.

AllHopeandRainbows · 13/04/2023 22:41

Agree. It’s scary to think what he can get away with in real life without cameras to prove his lies and gaslighting 🫣 I can imagine he has left behind some pretty traumatised exes along the way. Disgusting man.

Rummikub · 13/04/2023 22:48

H was breathtaking with his gaslighting. I was glued to the tv watching his nonsense.

I think Rupert does speak up re Harrison.

Agree with pp that it would be interesting to see tayla and Harrison together.

burnoutbabe · 13/04/2023 22:55

DoTrollsShitInTheThreads · 13/04/2023 20:38

Tbf I think Harrison has a point re Claire. She doesn't want Jesse.

Yes agreed. No one contradicted Jessie as they thought he was right.

Who knows Clare's motives for staying. She probably does care for him. But she doesn't want him as such. They are good friends.

determinedtomakethiswork · 13/04/2023 23:25

How come Clare knew that whatsherface had gone to Tasmania for the last couple of days, but hadn't told anyone else? Don't they speak to each other? And hasn't her husband noticed? Apologies for forgetting names, I'm tired!

Ollie didn't say anything at the table. The men are such cowards

dillite · 13/04/2023 23:30

To answer your question- you get a decade long court battle over the nost stupidest of shit just to play games and punish one another.

Karmagician · 13/04/2023 23:31

Just watching on catch-up. What an episode! Agree with lots already said - some classic quotes tonight. But I also love both Layton's and Ollie's facial expressions!

Hugo thought Tayla was living in the other apartment because they weren't getting on. Clare said Tayla had texted her to say she'd gone back to Tasmania.

tothelefttotheleft · 13/04/2023 23:37

determinedtomakethiswork · 13/04/2023 20:42

I really love Jesse, but he has to take responsibility for the fact that Clare went off with another man. He treated her so badly in this first couple of weeks. Most women would've gone home. He imitated her and mocked her, and she was really really miserable.

He definitely treated her badly at first.

Remember he shushed her?!
