It was a pile of cack. I was scrolling my phone the entire time watching this week.

Corrie no better in fairness.

I stopped watching corrie middle of last week. Very good job done with the acid and consent storylines but too many characters I hate on there.
Emmerdale going the same way except none of the stories are interesting me. They've started off well, Arthur, Kathy, caleb... now they've been ruined by plot holes, poor writing or poor acting.

Yes they do, and multiple ones at that.

I agree that some of the stories start off as a reasonable idea but get dragged out for far too long. By then we're bored to tears and couldn't care less what happens and are losing the will to live.
Maybe that's what the producers are hoping for so that we won't notice the plot holes.

For me it's also that they start off well but go into different directions that's not needed. Arthur coming out was done well, he played a good part, everyone involved did, but the spot light was quickly put onto Marshall and his nut job dad. I'd rather have seen more of Arthur's journey before that was done. And the highly thought of counselor allowed his son to live with a family he barely knows? And what room is he staying in? Because didn't jai move in with archie too?

Joanna Ebuwa has written tonight's so I'm not expecting great things. She's the new Sharon Marshall - good luck Eastenders
