Was going to call it something related to 'Love Shaq' but seems rather inappropriate now 😆

Miscalculation then on Tanya's part if Shaq sticks to his word. I reckon she was dishing out some punishment but confident she could be forgiven. Oops. Not keen on Martin but he's just been used.

Tanya was over with Shaq when she told the world about her ick anyway. Shaq doesn’t come across as someone who takes any form of disrespect.

Chasedbythechaser · 17/02/2023 00:54

Olivia has some cheek. Was she hoping to see Kai standing there alone while she paraded in with Max. I felt so sorry for Max in this 'situationship' or whatever they call it on LI. I really dislike Olivia with her snide remarks. She isn't particularly good looking either in comparison to the other women.

Will is extremely manipulative. Jessie's tears were fake but.....she showed such respect when she spoke to the Casa woman.

Casey is horrible. His eyes darting everywhere ferret like. Poor Claudia. He obviously had no intention of taking back a Casa woman and enjoyed having them throw themselves at him out of desperation to get into the villa. He's creepy.

I felt sorry for Shaq. Tanya is impressed by Martin. Martin is so arrogant. His face with his small eyes and pointy chin look even worse when beside Shaq who is so good looking. Martin and Olivia would make a great couple actually.

Cynthia and Shaq would have made a very good looking couple.

Andi2020 · 17/02/2023 01:00

Jessie and Shaq would be nice together to win so hopefully Shaq will be her shoulder to cry on.

icelollycraving · 17/02/2023 04:53

Really liked Casey in the Lana time, now feel he sees himself as a huge prize. Completely with Claudia for the family connection, he recognised her (probs told by producers) and is seeing them in Ok in matchy matchy outfits.
Ron and Lana are boring but the only ones to come out of it unscathed. Hope they show his comments to Tom at movie night, he was still annoyed she chose Tom.
Olivia, you don’t talk about someone coming bottom etc, he wasn’t on the radar as he was dull not because he was horrible. He looked so relieved when she walked in with a Casa boy. She talks like she had her jaws wired.
Jessie wants to win. She went in for Will when he was everyone’s favourite. Tears totally fake. She was nice to the Casa girl. Will repulses me, generally.
Tom and can’t remember her name won’t last. She has an extremely high opinion of herself and was fuming. He sounded like Ron, I needed to try the other connections to know I liked you.
Tanya was thirsty for Martin, he put zero in to it and just wanted to get in the main villa.
Poor Shaq. He seems a respectful man. He called out others previously for bad behaviour to the girls.
The Casa girls have to throw themselves at the boys and it still doesn’t work. The straddling was her choice. He’d already kissed other girls hadn’t he? He wasnt ever going to choose her. She was fun but quite aggressive in her approach.
Under boob threw herself at gross Will. They took it as it was there, don’t think either boy fancied them at all. Didn’t she give him a bit of a hand job?
There are always Casa girls who barely get shown. I don’t think any of the Casa girls or boys were as good looking as the OG.
I think the welfare team will have been on site asap.

MackenCheese · 17/02/2023 06:33

Martin looks so smug, but you could as pp have said, he put zero effort in!

Zampa · 17/02/2023 06:36

Thanks for the new thread. Checking in!

Maxwell, Ryan and Lydia were very good looking, better than most of the OG.

XanaduKira · 17/02/2023 06:58

Checking in - I enjoyed it! Fun episode. Olivia is so mean - no idea why she would expect Kai to be waiting on her when she had recoupled too?!

Love the idea of Shaq and Jessie getting together - they'd be a good looking couple! Agree with pp re Will crying for sympathy, but sadly think it will work and Jessie will forgive him.

Picoloangel · 17/02/2023 07:06

So difficult to watch Shaq standing there alone. I did say threads ago that I didn’t trust Tanya.

I think Jessie’s tears were genuine. She looked v shaken and upset. I think Will is really quite odd.

Lampzade · 17/02/2023 07:23

Sorry, but Will is very manipulative. Had his fun and now he has regrets.
Samie is probably irritated that Tom kissed another girl. As another poster said, she has a high opinion of herself
Casey is not attracted to Claudia.
I don’t agree with what Tanya did, but at least she was being true to herself and recoupled. All those posters who suggested that she was gameplaying were wrong. If she was gameplaying she wouldn’t have recoupled
Cynthia’s reaction was over the top.
I have never liked Olivia. Kai looked relieved when she came in with someone else.
He looks much happier in his new coupling and his personality is beginning to emerge,

Lampzade · 17/02/2023 07:24

Also, not a fan of Martin.

Oysterbabe · 17/02/2023 07:56

Poor Shaq. Tania is awful, surely she knows how she will come across on the outside?

rockingbird · 17/02/2023 07:56

Checking in.. looking forward to movie night!

Completely agree with all of this.

I will be voting for Kai from now on to get Olivia and that teenager into the bottom three over him.

Tanya is an idiot. Martin doesn't even like her.

Jessie was so classy last night. I felt so sorry for her. I think she genuinely likes Will. Will certainly doesn't deserve her.

Claudia was also so lovely yesterday whereas Casey is a total creep who wanted the Casa girls to fight over him and he always intended to stick with Claudia because of her family connection.

BigMacAttack · 17/02/2023 08:13

Tonight is going to be fiery.

frostyfours · 17/02/2023 08:15

I really dislike two much-repeated phrases on LI this year -

Nice guys always finish last, and
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission

I despair!

(Sorry if this has been said - not rtft as I watch the episodes the next day!)

vjg13 · 17/02/2023 08:23

Claudia looked so excited and pleased to see Casey. Poor deluded woman!
My heart broke for Shaq standing there. I hope he doesn't leave but think he may.

CellophaneFlower · 17/02/2023 08:35

I think Olivia has massive trust issues coupled with the fact she doesn't want to look like a mug. I think she does like Kai but had begun to doubt him due to the public not liking him/people in her ear, she doesn't know it's as he's boring. I don't think she's really into Maxwell. She still prefers Tom though. It was a ridiculous reaction from her, but was a defence default, but like Faye used to react.

Ron is awful giving Kai shit advice for his own benefit. Especially as Kai backed him during the divide.

Cynthia mentioning the straddling was ridic, it was her doing it and it doesn't make it practically a shag.

I do feel for Shaq a bit, but the fact he's "in love" doesn't mean his red flags are allowed to remain. In fact, dropping the love bomb so early is another one in itself.

Is it me or were there not any actual tears from Jessie (I was tired last night and not focussing). Fair enough as everyone shows emotion differently, but she did seem to make a point of wiping 'them' away.

Lydia was very gracious and took it on the chin. None of the boys made any promises after all.

ChipsAreLife · 17/02/2023 08:57

Checking in!

I need to rewatch but I sort of interpreted Ron's chat with Tom was that he would be making himself vulnerable if he was single and to sort of hedge his bets to keep his place in the villa. He sort of said something to that effect? But maybe I got that wrong.

Lol Martin 'I'm just excited to be here' like a bloody competition winner

I thought Maya was a legend asking the girls what they thought and then asking if they'd stay loyal. Really added to the pot.

Can't wait to see the aftermath

ChipsAreLife · 17/02/2023 08:58

@CellophaneFlower yes she was definitely trying to squeeze a tear out with no joy 😬

Rollergirl11 · 17/02/2023 09:08

Haven’t watched yet, just place marking in new thread.

CellophaneFlower · 17/02/2023 09:08

I thought so. I found her reaction quite weird tbh. I mean, it's not great to see anybody cry, but I'm not sure I'd be ready to start consoling him at that point. She did seem in shock, but was that at what Will had done or because she thought he'd just fucked up what she thought they had in the bag?

I hope I'm wrong, as I really like Jessie. The fallout will be telling. Even more so than Layla's clothing.

TheDutchHouse · 17/02/2023 09:28

Definitely the best episode last night so far , loved the way Maya spoke to them .. her interaction seems like she genuinely cares

BigMacAttack · 17/02/2023 09:31

When Jessie walked back in and was stood by Maya and she seem to breakdown and crumple. I was expected a tear stained face and ruined makeup when she removed her hands from her dramatic moment! Her face was still picture perfect.

Jessie is definitely upset about Will straying but I think she's on LI to make it big in the U.K.

I really liked her at the beginning as took her on face value as being genuine but last night just made me see her very differently.

Jessie was a complete Class Act when speaking to the Casa Girls.

Imagine the carnage if they let the uncoupled up boys and girls in the Villa for a couple of days.

Also Casa was nowhere near as long as normal was it?
