I think I remember Martin having a normal conversation with Olivia , but with Tanya he makes no sense while she just simpers and talks about him in the third person. Such a strange situation

I think Martin would be more interested in being mates with Shaq than dating Tanya. I could also see Martin feeling that Tanya is disrespecting Shaq but needed a place in the villa.

Totally see this too.

I also agree that his conversation is hard to decipher when he's with Tanya but he actually had a normal conversation with the other girls. Tanya was just all over him from the start continuously repeating how "this makes sense". Don't think Martin knew what she was on about 😂

I think Jessie and Shaq need to "get to know one another." They both seem like nice people and they have a good story, both bouncing back from betrayal...

I thought Jessie was playing a huge game with Will, then i thought nah he gives such bad vibes there is no way you could fake being in to him. I am back o the game theory now. He did her dirty and she is asking him if he is ok!! Nah she isn't in to him I don't think, she is faking it.

I don’t think Jessie is genuine either but then I don’t think any of them are. It’s a game show. They are contestants trying to win.

What I find interesting though, is how their personalities emerge while playing the game. Some get progressively worse and some seem like pretty nice people. I think jessie is the latter.

I wonder if we will hear a lot of last year’s top phrase tonight and they will all be ‘mugged off’!

The Casa girls go into the villa boasting how they are going to steal these pathetic men from their current partners. That is the game. It’s why many influencers contacted by love island will only agree to originals and bombshell. So for some of them to stand there questioning and being upset seems slightly pathetic. Lynda definitely had the right idea and the Scottish girl Lydia came away well.

I must be the only one who genuinely liked Will 😂 but then my ex was really camp as well and I initially didn't give him the time of day because I was sure he was gay. I guess I'm into camp guys 🤪

Ohh Will is my type too! I actually think he's very good-looking and ai'd definitely buy into the awkward family-orientated farm boy persona 😬 I think Jessie was absolutely gutted but wanted to be classy and gracious about it.

I'm surprised how much sympathy there is for Shaq when so many people were concerned about the way he spoke to Tanya before casa. Tanya wanted a way out and used Martin. I still like Shaq, always did, but I don't think he will be convincing in another couple now.
Casey's eyebrows always make me think of Jack Nicholson, I think a pp saw it too. Tbh I can't see him being in too much trouble for kissing other girls when he and Claudia had only just met. He has pretty much hinted that he fancies Tom more than the girls anyway.
Olivia never liked Kai and doesn't like Maxwell either, maybe she will try something with Martin if Tanya tries to get Shaq back but she probably still wants Tom. Let's hope the producers allow her to be voted out soon but I doubt it. I don't think the other islanders will get rid of her although the boys might side with Kai after the recoupling.

I thought will was honest and upfront of his screw up and Jessie was fab.
I didn't rate Cynthia's reaction there no guarantee no matter how much you flash your backside at someone. And I would say she did most of chasing. I didn't think Claudia did anything wrong and didn't deserve to be called out.
Olivia definitely over reacted but she did at least tell Kai's partner she wasn't in a row with her.
I don't like Martin but Tanya can re couple if she wants.

As for peoples' "type" - I must have totally different taste to most as I'd not be physically attracted to Ron or Shaq. Tom - yes. Will - yes. Kai - probably. Ron and Shaq - no.
