I thought mark came across really well on you’re fired. The panel was particularly harsh this time around!

On the website for Shrewsbury Prison, their own immersive events are £69, so a price point of £100+ was never going to be realistic.

On the menu for the cafe, you can buy 'The Governor's Burger' for £8.95, so how they ended up paying £25 for it is a mystery,

I have to say I want to visit Shrewsbury Prison now 😁 I've been to Blists Hill and that was good too, although I went during Covid restrictions so not everything was open. The fish and chip shop is amazing, one of the best fish 'n' chips I've ever had.

We have students at our school in yr10 who do better business presentations than this.

I was really hoping the other team would lose as I find Avi so annoying. Mark was hopeless though. Dani reminds me of Matt Lucas facially.

Did I miss any mention of upselling the photos in the boardroom? Avi gave them away then tried to charge people for them. Were the tips included in the final balances? As many have said, the food pricing / cooking is ridiculous. The person responsible for choosing the most expensive food was deemed exempt from the boardroom. It gets more bizarre every week.

It was 'blink and you'd miss it' but I think what happened is that Avi got round the photo thing by including 1 x group photo for everyone per his offer, and then selling extra individual photos.

The tips were included in the final total.

I suspect people with nous and good business skills would now run a mile from the Apprentice so maybe they can’t get better candidates. Why be humiliated rather than raise capital a different way. Although Dragons Den is also entertainment business people go on it.

Just getting round to The apprentice you’re fired. Can we please just cut out all the annoying crap and Tom Allen and just have the interview with the fired contestant please?

I think 1 or maybe 2 people have an actually investable business idea and the rest of them are just there to make up the numbers and be set up as "entertaining" in whatever way the producers decide to portray them. Presumably they agree to it for the publicity it gives them.

They invite companies to be on Dragon's Den, perhaps they cast the apprentices?

They need new people casting, this series is just a shit show.

Over the years, the Apprentice has gradually changed from a business programme in a light entertainment format to a light entertainment show with a business theme.

The change of presenters for You've Been Fired typifies that.

The first series was presented by Adrian Chiles who was then the host of Working Lunch and was seen predominantly as a business journalist with the popular touch.

Now it's presented by the irritating Tom Allen who makes it all about himself.

DH applied to be on the first series of The Apprentice - got as far as the screen tests but I think his unwillingness to big up Spurs as a fabulous football team and financial bet (🙄) and general laidbackness meant he didn’t make the cut.

Just as well, as initially he was told it would be 6 weeks and then it became 12 weeks and I was well into pregnancy with DC2.

For me thar was the only thing Avi got right - I find him so annoying!

I think the ‘actors’ except Avri were excellent.
The lips are annoying me too.
I think it’s harsh on who does the cooking, none of them are chefs.

Looking forward to the men's fragrance. Remember the year they made perfume, and overcalculated the amount of VERY expensive ingredient they needed? 😆😆
