Any fans of BBCs this country tv show?

Just wanted to start a thread about 'this country' as I honestly find it so hilarious and some episodes make me cry laugh every time!! Kerry and Curtan I love you!! I hardly know anyone else that watches it but IMO it's a gem of British comedy. Not to everyone's taste I understand but definately my sense of humour.

Favourite episodes anyone ?

Mine is probably the one where they are waiting for the vicar at the train station and they get into an arguement and curtan throws Kerry's shoe onto the train just as the doors close 😂😂

Absolutely love it! Makes me howl with laughter but I also ache a bit for Kerry when she's so desperate for her dad to love him and he doesn't give a toss.

Big Mandy's scenes crack me up. When she's giving her nunchucks demo, her tattooing, her amazingly good hearing Grin

Such a funny show. Must rewatch it.

Absolutely brilliant. Also possibly a documentary about the village I grew up in.

My favourite bits are Kerry listing her enemies, and in I think the first episode with the scarecrow competition, when you just see a disgruntled Kurtan in the background with a flaming torch on his way to set fire to his rivals' scarecrows. That was the moment I realised I was going to love every minute of it.

@TheWeeDonkeyFella he is Kurtans old school friend who he tries to find and he drags kerry through the countryside to find him. It's a great episode, kerry doesn't remember him😂

It is really sad, great actor.

They paid him a brilliant tribute in the episode where Sluggs has left a letter, telling Kurtan that it was in fact Kerry who broke the bed on the caravan holiday.😁

Kerry’s mum is constantly quoted in our house. Especially YOUVE BEEN AVIN DOUBLE DINNERS when someone has eaten a lot 😂

I binged watched it during the pandemic , absolutely loved it ! I live in the Cotswolds so also enjoyed spotting familiar places . Favourite episodes have to be the stalker one and Mandy giving Kerry a tattoo or and Martin Mucklowe the peeper 🤣
