Ravi not taking advantage of Denise last night made a change , they are usually quick to take any opportunity in this soap , the men and the women.
Denise was drunk when she conceived Raymond (it was consensual, but a huge mistake )
Ravi is playing the long game though I'm sure.
Phil is a thread here too , his been involved with every one of them with either business , pleasure or a marriage ! Stacey nearly killed him once. Linda hasn't had that much to do with him , but maybe it'll be more about the pub in the future. His always had links to that pub.
I'd rather that Kat Karen or Shirley had been one of the 'chosen ones ' too.
It might make the next ten months slightly odd too as the more minor characters are on the back burner.

Denise doesn't look at all upset until right at the very end just before they move onto Sharon - it's interesting how long they lingered on her. I still don't think Ravi would wear those cufflinks though. I could see Nish in them.

On a different episode what is Ravi up to? He must have ex cons on his friend list after being in prison for years? Yet he seems ok (apart from disposing of his Dad who wasn’t his Dad’s body. Is that why he is chasing Denise - to get info from Jack via Denise?

Yep, I said the same - they probably won't decide for sure until MUCH MUCH nearer Christmas. They'll keep an eye on social media and make a decision based on fewest discussion etc

I've watched the flash forward again and Sharon puts both hands on his one , we never see his hands only a cufflink, white cuff of a shirt
