It wasn't a coincidence that we saw Callum and Jack actually at their place of work for five minutes and that shot of Ravi on the cctv and how his involved in something criminal.
I agree that Denise will receive threats or blackmail letters of some kind once she starts her affair properly with muscles and this will become entwined with the police investigation into whatever Ravi is up to. Jelly has it spot on I think.
It was nice that Patrick keeps on eye on Linda. He knows she could easily start drinking again

The brick wall mystery is odd , it's always opened out into the street close to the stalls. Bit of a mix up with the sets there !!

The view through the main window of the shop isn't wall. It's either the tall shelves outside the shop or the "advertising" covering that is on it. The only view is through the door.

This, they didn't think it through and have no idea where to go with it.

There was a missed opportunity there for the writers to show alternative ways to address a pre teen pregnancy. Now it just looks as though everyone will rally round, help out and there will be happy ending. Bad message to give out to impressionable young girls who may not have that level of support in real life.

@SoupDragon I disagree that it's Beale's wall, the angle in my screenshot doesn't look right for it to be that and the wall looks too close to the front of the shop 🤷🏻‍♀️ Willing to concede I might be wrong, it just looks really odd to me.

My screenshot is from the same scene as yours. This is where the end of the Beale house changes into the lower wall of the backyard.

Lily’s storyline has nowhere to go. I wondered initially if they just wanted to run a parallel pregnancy storyline with Whitney who desperately wanted a baby losing hers while Lily who didn’t want a baby having hers but now I presume they are gearing up towards Lily leaving EE?

Is that the end for Emma now too? Lola doesn’t have enough time to spend with he so will stay in contact by phone only? I thought she’d try to get custody of Lexi but it seems yet another non story.

When did Jack become Callum’s boss? Callum sitting in an empty room with a laptop with only Jack around was another silly scene.

Presumably Jack will tell Denise about Ravi’s involvement in a crime and she will warn Ravi. It’s another silly story, Denise’s side eye is awful too and the least sexy thing ever!

Clearly Ryan and Helen have money and a nice place to live , so maybe Lily will go off with them

So this Helen is happy to take on a teenage mum she has never met and bring up her baby? She must be a saint. Ryan hasn't shown himself to be good father material in the past either. Ridiculous.

I think there must be more to the Helen and Ryan story eg. She can't have kids or something, so they want Lily's one instead?

She hasn't had a scan yet so maybe baby will have died. Know that horrible but really best in this instance

Esp a couple who depend on Helen’s salary to survive as Ryan is paying maintenance fees every month for Lily. That was shoehorned in to either tell us about his financial status or to show he is a ‘good’ father because he pays maintenance —despite not seeing her for six years while being within a couple of hours away—

They won’t have enough money to look after both Lily and a baby!

When on the phone to her he says "what you said last night, are you sure you want to go through with it?"

I thought Ryan and Helen were unable to conceive so we're planning on taking Lily in and having the baby for them to raise. Not spoiler just my thoughts

I've just re listened on iPlayer. He says "I don't want to play dirty but I will" plus "trust me Helen, I will do whatever it takes" amongst stuff about Lily and the baby being better off with them

I’m sure Lily will go to live with them. I meant just the reality of two people already dependent on two salaries now taking in two others. But then this is EE where money and lack of money never stops anyone doing something or going anywhere.
The rusty car is another example. The two brothers have very little money. Mitch has very little money yet they will come up with the thousands needed to repair it.

Re: lily's pregnancy...They're making it look so easy for a 12 year old.... wish they made it more realistic...

Why don't they ask Phil and Ben to do up Emily the car ? Although I agree that Mitch will probably pay for it all.
