Ah this has has brought back terrible memories. My first trip to Edinburgh with my then boyfriend. Train operated by Virgin and every seat was double booked due to a ‘glitch’. We had to stand until Darlington I think (we boarded in London😵).

Edinburgh was lovely though.

The train I was on got stopped somewhere because someone was smoking a joint which the ticket collector pretended not to notice but then called the police who came on at the next station and took them away. Everyone was more pissed off about the delay. I miss the 90's Grin
