Not ashamed to admit that for a few seconds there I howled - having been in that situation having a dog put to sleep, I think ML and Boss did a fantastic bit of acting there, better than most of the cast could manage!

Although it was an upsetting storyline at least it was realistic, no scams, murders or firebombs required. Maureen Lipman was terrific, as was Cerberus.

Missed it last night, just catching up now. Omg I sobbed 😭 so sad. Bloody Corrie is just depressing all the time these days 😞

Dr Ali did something bad andgot struck off and went away. Id like him to come back. He was easy on the eye.

Cerberus and Maureen Lipman were amazing!
I know Evelyn is very popular on here, but I still find her a deeply unpleasant character.

I do too, especially as she is guilt tripping Roy when she should have been looking out for own dog but Maureen is a good actor, a cut above many on the show, she completely nailed those scenes, her tears were so convincing. It is possible to be a thoroughly unpleasant character but still eminently watchable.

I found it a hard watch knowing I’m going to have to go through that soon you could really feel Evelyn’s pain, she is such a good actress, poor Cerberus, he really did look very unwell lying there poor thing. One good thing is it might make people aware how dangerous currants/raisins and grapes can be, when I take my dog into a cafe or pub I always do a quick scan of the floor just in case.

Christina is a ridiculous character. I get that she’s meant to be flighty and irresponsible, but would she really be so “Hey, chill out, it’s cool” that she stuck up for people she’s not seen in years over her daughter (who clearly dislikes said people)? It was nonsense. What a waste of an actress as good as Amy Robbins.

@WomanStanleyWoman2 it is exactly what my mum would do. Always save face and side with ANYONE over her kids. I not only believed that part but felt fairly triggered by it.
