I also actually felt a bit sorry for Alfie - much prefer the more serious version of him to the cor blimey cheeky chappy useless twat version.

I was convinced the writers would use Alfie as a way to get rid of Kat. I really thought she would go with him.

I think it has transpired with the EE bosses that the men left are an ageing gangsta, self righteous Jack and cheeky chappie yawnfest Alfie and realised the show is really lacking eye candy, hence the swift return of Keanu. Not sure what the return of Rickaay was about.
