Vardy V Rooney - anyone watching?

I'm enjoying it so far, although I don't know much about the case. All I know is that Colleen Rooney worked out who was leaking stories about her and then Vardy sued her for libel?

I saw the trailers. Looked shite so I've not bothered.

I followed the case at the time and it was so hilarious how stupid Rebekah Vardy was and how ill- advised to take the case that the tv drama just can't do it justice. I fell asleep.

I'm watching just to figure out why on earth Michael Sheen has agreed to be involved in this! Bizarre! .

I'm looking forward to seeing this drama - I know it won't be 100% accurate as some bits will be over dramatised. But they are using court transcripts so a lot of the court stuff will be real words that were said

To make it more dramatic and compelling, I think they would needed to have fabricated scenes outside of the courtroom - so Vardy and the hubbie having a fight about the costs for example or Colleen talking to her family. Was a bit dry with just the courtroom scenes and any cutaway scenes were the women alone. It didn’t work that well imo. They obviously wanted to stick faithfully to the known facts

Very compelling just for the jaw-dropping bare faced CFuckery of RV. I also thought RV’s performance was very reminiscent of MM in the H&M documentaries. The utter belief they think they are telling their truth, The word salad nonsensical phrases, and also the ‘misremembering’ in court as also happened in that libel trial.

Because she's a twat, a thick one at that.

I'm watching 4 on demand. I think both episodes are on.

That was bloody hilarious. Two rich women throwing husbands money at each other in one of the most pointless efforts ever seen in a courtroom. A perfect example of when you're in a hole stop digging. Highly recommended if you can't face any more news at the moment.

And to add to seasonal hilarity, 'Prince Andrew; The Musical' will be on C4 on Dec 29. Anyone who thinks I'm being unkind is welcome to say so but these people, Vardy and PA, for instance spend large amounts of money on persuading us, the public, that they are wonderful people. When their knickers fall down in public, due to their own efforts, we are fully entitled to laugh. Happy Christmas one and all.
