Oh Rome that would be so much worse than Joe Sugg!

There are so many people I hope it isn't - top of the list being that woman partnered with Karen last year.

I would have to burn my television if it was her.

covetingthepreciousthings · 12/04/2023 18:21

Mel Geidroyc?

Gothambutnotahamster · 12/04/2023 18:36

I reckon Alison Hammond as she's popping up on everything! I'd love it to be AJ as I adore her or Rose Ayling Ellis.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 12/04/2023 18:39

If they are looking for a vehicle for Rose it's been handed to them

But it would mean that they wouldn’t have to think of a competition….

How many nose boops can you take before you bleed

or

How long can someone cling on like a koala for?

Yeah but no but - I wouldn’t watch if it was them either.

Really pleased Rylan is leaving. Never felt quite right for him. Just another gig.

kazzaD66 · 13/04/2023 08:29

I hope it's not Ritchie Anderson!

I never felt it was "just another gig" for him. He is obviously a big Strictly fan and chatted easily to the dancers and celebs (unlike Janette)

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 13/04/2023 08:38

They could also run it two or three nights a week from Media City. That could make sense if they have a lot of north-based celebs.

A train from Wilmslow to Euston can be under two hours, so "commuting" for a night wouldn't be horrendous.

I'd probably start watching it more again if Gethin got the job. He was my favourite on Blue Peter!

Sad news to see that Len Goodman has passed away.

MavisMcMinty · 24/04/2023 11:52

“It’s a seven from heaven!”

Aw, RIP Len. At least now we have three judges with ballroom/Latin credentials, in Len’s day he was the only one.

the80sweregreat · 24/04/2023 12:02

Sad to hear about Len Goodman
I hope they do a strictly tribute for him

kazzaD66 · 24/04/2023 12:32

Very sad news. Made me smile reading some of his best quotes on the BBC website and trying to remember which celebrity he was talking about.

piedbeauty · 24/04/2023 12:38

Very sad news about Len. He was a great judge with a huge amount of dance knowledge.

This really is such sad news

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 24/04/2023 14:21

RIP Len

No more FAFFING ABAAHT

MavisMcMinty · 24/04/2023 16:48

Now his family can actually pickle his walnuts.

Gooseysgirl · 24/04/2023 16:56

Very sad news indeed 😕 My best memory of him is from the time we went to a live recording of Strictly and he was sitting outside the studio on a bench relaxing and smoking a cigar as we were all streaming in from the queue in White City, twinkle in his eye smiling over at us 🥰

EsmaCannonball · 24/04/2023 17:39

Len was from the classic period of Strictly and he gave the show much of its identity. I don't think they've ever managed to capture what made that original judging panel stand out. I am so with him on the faffin' abaaht!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 24/04/2023 22:07

Sad news. It's been nice to see some of his best bits in the news articles.

Amy has announced she has breast cancer. Poor love has had such a torrid time with her heath.

Gooseysgirl · 24/05/2023 17:08

Awful news for poor Amy! As if she hadn't enough going on already 😕 Here's hoping her treatment goes well and she's back doing what she loves ASAP.
