I really enjoyed the Christmas special. More ballroom, some lovely dresses, and Kai made an excellent Father Christmas.

There's an old Come Dancing on BBC4 (9) at 7 tonight, I might have a look.

I wondered if anyone has seen the Live tour or going to the O2 this weekend as I would love to know more about the Kai and Helen pairing, they seem to have been more of a hit with the audiences than Jowita and Hamza. I'm a massive Kai fan but missing this tour, going to see him with Nadia in April instead.

@sailingsunshine My sister went she sent me a video of Kai and Helen dancing Mein Herr I think it was better with Gorka and I am a Kai fan.

Love Kai but having seen all poorly filmed tour footage going, I cannot forsake Gorks, sorry!

Also, it was unusual for a Loose Woman to be First Boot.
That wasn't predictable - Kaye wasn't even that bad and had Charleston week two - usually a vote-grabber.
Kai got to final even if they couldn't perform, so it stands to reason he had a duffer. They probably thought she'd get to Halloween at least, mind. Ruth, Christine, Judi, Frankie, Sunetra, Katie, Claire, Kym, Lesley, Lynda, Jamelia, Penny, Anita, Lisa, Denise, Kelly all went further than week two.
Only Chizzy and Nina (first boots) and Gloria and Carol (Vorderumba) went out early.

Kai doesn’t do deliciously camp as well as Gorka does. He’s not even wearing a corset…

There was more of a connection between Helen and Gorka too

Just got back from seeing Kevin Clifton and Masie Smith in Strictly Ballroom at the theatre. It's on tour if you have the opportunity to go do.

Has everyone heard the cheery news that Janette and Aljaz are expecting a baby? I think they've been waiting a while for this, so it's very happy news.

This is really lovely news. I think it’s a few years now since janette left strictly, saying she was leaving to have a family so it sounds like it has been a bit of a journey. I’m really pleased for them

And apparently Aljaz and Janette are moving to Cheshire so will be nearer to Gemma and Gorka - a Strictly baby club 😂

Neil Jones (40) is expecting a baby with Chyna Mills (24) who is 13 weeks pregnant so expecting around end of Sept. He has proposed apparently.
Wonder whether that means he'll be benched - having a newborn two weeks into a new series isn't great timing...unless he specifically asks for a duffer to go out early. Gork's new son will be - what? - around 3 months by then but he's due a duffer following making finals.

This news just flashed up on my Insta. Had absolutely no idea who she was until I googled... Love Island alumni.

It will be fab news if it means Neil is benched!
