I think Fleur should have won

Rapunzel22 · 17/12/2022 21:40

The BP Advent Crown has just been on channel 5 !

Willmafrockfit · 17/12/2022 21:40

the final show i dont think matters in terms of voting, i think the majority of public had already decided.

youngestisapsycho · 17/12/2022 21:40

A whole series of judges voting people off but they don’t pick the final winner? 🤷🏼‍♀️

lollipoprainbow · 17/12/2022 21:40

Anyone else think that Hamza has fallen for Jowita?

Yes

Iamboredandgoingforatwix · 17/12/2022 21:40

I think Craig was fuming. Glad Hamza won. Loved watching him dance.

ArcaneWireless · 17/12/2022 21:41

lollipoprainbow · 17/12/2022 21:41

Surely motsi and Shirley were pleased he won?!

Inkanta · 17/12/2022 21:42

Yes I enjoyed Hamza the best tonight. Good job!

AnneShirleysNewDress · 17/12/2022 21:42

Thanks for all the threads @PolkadotsAndMoonbeams. See you all for the Christmas special!

C4tastrophe · 17/12/2022 21:42

I won’t be watching next year. Absolute bollox that Hamza won. Of the 4 tonight he was the worse.

ShakeYourFeathers · 17/12/2022 21:42

Well I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you to you all for making the last 3 months so entertaining. Strictly would Not be same without these past 12 threads

Clymene · 17/12/2022 21:42

So glad those nakedly ambitious grim faced pair didn't win.

Congratulations to hamza and jowita.

I need to try and find that on catch up!

Badger1970 · 17/12/2022 21:42

Hamza was the only one without the sob story.

There's a lesson there for future "celebs" if you can call them that these days .................

KimberleyClark · 17/12/2022 21:42

I’m happy Hamza won. I felt his dancing.

UrsulaPandress · 17/12/2022 21:43

But Hamza learnt to dance on the show. And brought joy.

By the final everyone has made up their minds.

On the basis of his performance over the whole series, he deserves it.

Amen, and definitely thanks Polka, it'll come back round sooner than it feels!

WipedAndSwiped · 17/12/2022 21:44

Helen wasn’t the best dancer. Tonight or any other night. Fleur out danced everyone. But it’s not just about technique, it’s about audience connection, and Hamza always looked like he loved dancing and I think that’s why he won. He wasn’t the best, but his connection with the music, and with the audience probably was.
I’ve hated the way Helen’s backstory has dominated her appearance in the series. For her as much as the other competitors. I can’t think that’s what anyone would want for their time on Strictly, surely? If you take that away, she was just average.

Lampzade · 17/12/2022 21:44

lollipoprainbow · 17/12/2022 21:41

I think Motsi looked surprised

PrincessScarlett · 17/12/2022 21:44

Do they ever release the voting figures? Just wondering if it was close or not.

Exactly. I sometimes wonder why they bother to have a final.
Well, there has to be a final, but it doesn't matter how people dance in it. As you say, people have already made their mind up by then.

Rapunzel22 · 17/12/2022 21:45

cariadlet · 17/12/2022 21:42

It's on the Channel 5 "Best Christmas Ever"

blacksax · 17/12/2022 21:45

SoupDragon · 17/12/2022 21:26

She tap danced until she was 17 and, in her own words, is very good. She has awards and is a qualified teacher.

Really? I'd have expected a trained tap dancer to be better at Fosse than that.
