Help us find a goof US sitcom please!

Myself, dh and our son 17 have had a family tradition oner the last few years of watching a couple of episodes of a US sitcom a couple of nights a week. Dh and I hadn't watched any of the series at the times they were broadcast so it's all off Netflix.

We've loved :

The Big Bang Theory
Friends
Joey
Community
Arrested Development
Superstore
Brooklyn 99
Parks and Rec
The Office (US)

We know seem to have come to a dead end. We tried the new show, Blockbuster but it wasn't much cop so we gave up. We tried a few episodes of How I Met Your Mother but we haven't really enjoyed that either. Surely there must be more series still to watch with the same sense of humour as all of the above?

Still the best US sitcom IMO.

It was on All 4 a while back, not sure if it's still on there though.

Frasier and Mash are out go to when there’s nothing else on.

I binged watched Schitt’s Creek during first lockdown and loved it.

really feel good, laugh out hilarious and ten whole seasons - watched it twice through

not a comedy but Friday Night Lights is one of my favourite shows of all time. Your son would love it.

I promise you don’t have to like/know anything about American football to enjoy the show.

Ghosts (US) is good and much better than the UK version.

I plan to rewatch all of Seinfeld when I get time. We still sing George's answering machine song

Schitts creek as others have said. Takes a while to get hooked but my god I felt lost when I finished all series

It's not strictly US but it is brilliant - Ted Lasso.

I thought Emily in Paris is quite a good series to watch for light hearted easy watching.

Does frasier count as goofy? Definitely watch this. It's arguably the best sitcom ever made. The acting is comedy genius.

Malcolm in the middle is a great family show, Bryan Cranston is a treat to watch . The whole season is on Disney

We have watched all of your list and enjoyed them. I would second the suggestion of The Middle of you can find it. Our favourites to research have been Scrubs and My Name is Earl, which I think may be on Disney
