TBH the way MH displayed his jumper in front of the camera just sealed what a plonker he is to me.

The way he was checking to see if the camera was watching him do it it reminded me of that bloke on BB trying to shave his chest without being caught on camera

Never watched tik tok. I see it as a teenage/ kid thing. I'm more in to words than videos. I'll vote for Jill today and expect her to win but am surprised which particular men come in what order in the 3 or 4 behind her causes that much drama. Doing the cyclone seemed to be a big thing but I'm surprised whether you are 2nd or 4th is that important

Made me realise just how vulnerable he is in many ways.

He's still surprised to be there and liked - like the uncool kid at school. And he doesn't have too many social skills and so has a weird innocent way of establishing himself further.

After all - they all have their numbers on their backs. We can see them we know them. They are announced every night.

it is really interesting how people see others differently. MH comes over as robotic to me physically (he doesn’t swing his arms when he walks and his lack of sincerity in his voice) and mentally (his lack of connection or empathy or even emotions when doing trials). He displayed his jumper number carefully (?!) and also talked about all the food he had on the beach but didn’t then let others have his portion later. Even the way he went back to licking the pans. He then talks about the camp camaraderie but to me he is the type I met at public school - who couldn’t rely on anyone so formed alliances not friendships and always put themselves first.
This was the problem in the pandemic - he couldn’t listen to the scientists effectively. And the PPE going to his ‘alliances’ too rather than the correct people. And his instant dismissal of his wife and children.

MT is a big rugby no-nonsense player. He did show empathy to Sue and others. He wasn’t a bully, he was someone who doesn’t talk that much and doesn’t wear his heart on his sleeve. I would put much more trust in him. His judgement would be based on what’s good for the team.

Maybe it’s because I am older and from the North but it is interesting how everyone’s perceptions are different which led me to The Guardian article I posted above.

I still can’t get over Mike coming 4th. A boring man and a total disappointment.
