But I’m obviously somewhat surprised that MH is still there. I completely see that there is a Matt who is a camp mate doing successful trials and not rocking the boat in camp etc. He’s an ok guy in camp.

But you can’t separate the MH who is a serving MP paid by taxpayer money who is on a reality show and for me that’s 100% wrong. If he was no longer an MP it may be different even taking into account he was the Health Secretary during Covid. But it’s completely wrong and unedifying that an MP is on this show.

Nevertheless he’s still there and it’s interesting to see how others obviously focus on the Matt within camp and are voting to keep him in, rather than MH the MP (or about to be ex MP) rather than the wider morals as to whether he should be there taking a huge fee from ITV and claiming his taxpayers MP Salary as a public servant.

If Tindall is in the final he will make sure he is the one doing the last stint on the cyclone, he will insist Matt does the first leg as he could not bear being outshone by Matt, and Matt being the affable one will not argue and agree.

I fell asleep (I do get up at 4am!) last night and missed the exit interview - well actually all but the trial! But sounds like CM threw a right strop?!

I was actually disappointed during that trial that he didn't drop Owen into the offal or the water when being shocked.

Can’t see how Jill’s boring. A bit low key, doesn’t push herself forward, but she’s engaged and interested in everything/everybody and quite witty sometimes. She can also hold her own as the lone woman in a group of men and for that reason I’d like to see her get one of the top tv presenting jobs; replacing Gary Lineker on the beeb would be good.

I've noticed that MH is very encouraging to other contestants. Yesterday he was supporting Seann during the food challenge, whereas MT was just taking the piss. MT was taking the piss out of Seann during the Grot yoga challenge too. I do think small moments like that give you the measure of a man, so I've gone right off MT.
