I must admit I'm getting exceptionally amused and entertained by the amount of people ranting and frothing at Matt Hancock still being in the jungle. Not only on here, but on a couple of other forums and particularly on Twitter. The far left wokies are going absolutely batshit because he's still in there, and they cannot fathom who could possibly be voting for him. Or why!

Matt Hancock is still in the jungle, because despite lots of nasty shit being written on social media about him, many people are voting for him because they want to! And you are generally NOT hearing from people who vote for him because they won't SAY they are.

Why??? Because they know how toxic and vitriolic the left wing are on social media.

And they KNOW they will be shouted down and called a bigot, or thick, or uneducated, or some other predictable and lazy insult that SOME lefties like to hurl.

Like someone said on a chat show a couple of days ago, these very loud left wingers (including many celebrities,) assume that everybody thinks like them, and they're stunned that people are voting for Matt Hancock! I have seen a few people on Twitter DEMANDING to know who is voting for Matt. It's quite funny to witness. Like, who the hell do they think they are?!

Matt Hancock has beaten most of the celebrities hands down. And the absolutely wide eyed, gobsmacked, left wing wokies can't figure out why, coz they assume everybody thinks like them and they can't fathom for one second that other people have a different opinion. Because they live in this echo chamber of people who think like them, and can't cope with opposing opinions. They get really angry and butthurt when they see people having a different viewpoint!

And LOL at Chris Moyles assuming HE would be more popular than Matt Hancock, and being so butthurt that he was out of the jungle before Matt!

Too true. It also occurs to me that many of the frothy people will have cheated on partners : behaved and made relationship mistakes.

And on the politics stuff everyone assumes that anything conservatives do is wrong (and Labour would have done differently). I really doubt that.

Using the example of old peoples homes. There will have been advice, and reports, and difficult decisions. I'm much more inclined to think that everyone in that situation genuinely believed freeing up hospital beds for the most critical patients was the best move and aiming to isolate patients back at their care home was better, if they didn't have symptoms. I do not think for a moment MH thought old people didn't matter.

But hey. Someone is a conservative. And a politician. So they must be the devil incarnate. No. He's a person, doing a job that very very very few people would want to do. I know I wouldn't. Especially with the constant fury of the public.

And I'm not a blue voter either. I'm just a human who try's to see the wider picture. I'll save the heart attack inducing anger for actual murderers, rapists and other horrible criminals.

In Scotland the left wing SNP took the same approach to testing and care homes the Tories in England did. There weren't enough tests and there was anxiety that the frail elderly would block beds so younger people with severe Covid couldn't get admitted
