Is True Blood suitable for a 14 year old?

My 14 year old has an obsession with vampires and has discovered she can stream True Blood on our Tv. I've never seen it, I doubt it's anything too terrifying but can anyone who's a fan let me know if it's unsuitable? Thanks.

I remember watching it years ago. It was quite sexual from what I remember. It would be a no from me, but it depends on what you think they can handle.

I can remember sitting down to watch this with my parents when i was in my early 20s.

I wanted to die on the spot the moment the (very) graphic sex scenes started!

My dh was convinced I was actually watching porn whenever he found me watching True Blood. I do miss Eric

Definitely not at that age. The Vampire Diaries on Netflix is probably more suitable although it’s still a bit gory and there are a few sex scenes.

Im usually pretty laid back and i love true blood but no its not suitable for a 14 year old

Lots of sex. Graphic sex. Huge amounts of very gory death, blood, sex and blood at the same time, plain old fashioned non-vampire death but also pretty graphic. I don't recommend it for 14 years old!!

definite no and it seriously sucked as a storyline towards the end. The books were so terrible at the end, I gave them away.

A lot of sex, a lot of swearing (lost count of how many times they say cunt), a lot of graphic violence. It's my absolute favourite series but no I wouldn't let a 14 year old watch it.

Maybe try the twilight movies instead .

I'm nearly certain the very first scene is a shot of a man's bare arse as he shags someone. Also the show got very bad, very fast.
