Yet another new thread.

Sean Walsh reckoned that their relationship was almost over so he didn't think it was a big thing to kiss someone else's wife on a programme where he worked with her husband. After RH did a very public interview about him and his lies, she learned about other affairs he'd had.

She felt publicly and privately humiliated. If she wanted and was able to male money out if it, I don't blame her.

However, although Seann seems a bit self-pitying and self-absorbed, I think he's coming across as OK. Although calling Owen very wise and smart does make me wonder a bit!

I do have a friend whose son died in the (illegal, and unnecessary) Iraq war which was waged by Labour. She’s still, justifiably, angry. Id be surprised if she did vote Labour and I wouldn’t hold it against her if she voted Tory. Or think she was a bad person. I think lefties can often forget the damage New Labour caused to so many lives.

Exactly
I've no idea why he's knighted yet putin is branded utterly evil for his illegal invasion of a country

workiskillingme · 20/11/2022 19:22

Dear me @Ramble0n you still rambling on about MH

PatientZorro · 20/11/2022 19:23

Shhh @Aquarius1234, nobody is to mention handcuffs on pain of ommmmmm.

JaneJeffer · 20/11/2022 19:23

Oh you're off on one again @workiskillingme

Oh you're off on one again @workiskillingme

Lol yeah of course
I've been away from this thread for hours to come back and find the usual suspects STILL blithering on about Hancock and 'all tories '

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 20/11/2022 19:27

I think about the grand total of 2 people have said they like MH, but by this thread you’d think there was some sort of bloody cult worshipping him

Dave20 · 20/11/2022 19:31

If I was in camp I wouldn’t be too worried about MH, I think Boy George would make me feel more uncomfortable. I mean if you said something he didn’t like, he’d be your worst enemy for the duration of the show.

Matt wouldn’t make me feel uncomfortable in there, I haven’t seen anything from him to suggest he would. He’s been pretty harmless in there really.

burnoutbabe · 20/11/2022 19:33

I think would be fascinating to chat to (similarly to say keir stammer) just finding out about how things work (to a limited extent)

I'd prefer to chat to him about stuff all day than say Owen or Jill. Who are nice but not very chatty. It must be so boring in there without chatting or even playing stupid games like mr wolf.

I don't think any of them in there are more fake than any of us would be on say a corporate retreat where we gamely throw ourselves into stuff and have to make chit chat with random colleagues.

Have you missed me? ❤

Ramble0n · 20/11/2022 18:00

Nope. I don't tend to choose Tories as friends.

What an odd thing to say.

I don’t talk about politics with friends and have no idea who they vote for. I wouldn’t know or care what party they vote for. I’d guess a lot of people don’t vote anyway.
I know lots of people too who don’t vote anyway.

Ponesta · 20/11/2022 19:34

There are only 2 certainties -

It's edited so that we see what they want us to see and therefore manipulate our thoughts and the votes.

They're all only there for the money.

MajesticWhine · 20/11/2022 19:35

What's happening - I've been away for a couple of days. Is there an eviction tonight?

Fully understand that. I served throughout the Labour government. I can tell you that most of the British army disliked Tony Blair.

l don’t think the families of those that died in Iraq will be forgiving Labour anytime soon.

XanaduKira · 20/11/2022 11:05

She's been commenting all the way through - I can't remember what she has said, but she has said a lot - generally one liners taking the pee or making a joke. Nothing awful, but if anyone else had said they, they'd definitely be called bitchy.

When he was camp leader and set out what everyone was to do she asked "is that rules or guidance?".

She was very deadpan so I couldn't work out if she has a dry sense of humour or it was a dig.

The days of public stocks and hanging have ended, thankfully. These people have fallen foul of the law/public expectations, paid the price of humiliation and done their time re: punishment. As a pp said, Ant stayed out of the public eye for quite some time afterwards and made heartfelt public apologies.
Time to move on, I think.

We can still talk about it if we want to. Drink driving is abhorrent and something that should never be forgotten about imo. Tough shit if they, of you, don’t like it.

Bluekerfuffle · 20/11/2022 19:41

I’m not left wing, but I think MH is an unpleasant prat. Not to mention a serving MP should not be taking part in a reality show, they should be held to certain standards.

Aquarius1234 · 20/11/2022 19:44

This thread is nuts.

pilates · 20/11/2022 19:45

RambleOn you wouldn’t be friends with a Tory? Wow 😮 I’m interested how you do that. So do you steer the conversation to politics when you first meet someone?

ArcaneWireless · 20/11/2022 19:45

A lot of the Air Force disliked him - with a passion - as well dave20

Still do.

itsgettingweird · 20/11/2022 19:47

Charlene kept going on about her nooses at ITV saying she has to be impartial. That as a journalist she must be impartial to keep her job.

IIRC only presenters who are presenting for the bbc have the impartiality clause because it's British tax payer funded?

Even then it's only whilst they are employed by them?

Guessing you've never tried online dating?
" don't message me or we won't get on if your a Tory, racist, sexist, homophobic....

Aquarius1234 · 20/11/2022 19:50

It's a bit eye roll, but that's what many profiles say.
