On the live instagram after the show Ant and Dec said they really like Jill, so it looks likely she will be in the top 3, I like Jill too so would be happy with that.

I feel the same.

I love Seann, he’s very funny and I love how he went against the grain when they were moaning yet again about MH.

I don’t love or hate MH - he’s good at trials and does his bit but there’s not a lot else to him except he seems to upset everyone else!

Yes I dont think they are focussing on how they are perceived at all times. In particular I feel when they go off for their little bitching sessions (BG mainly) they walk off and chat, I think they forget the camera sees everything

BG did say he felt like he was at a party he wasnt invited too, Matt may well feel the same but we havent seen him moaning about anyone or anything but obviously its highly edited.

Either MH is just someone who never vents about people full-stop or he's playing a careful game whereby he knows full well it would ruin the whole thing and all his cards would come tumbling down.

If a poster comes on here and says they or their DH got caught drink driving they are seen as the scum of the earth, obviously some posters think this is different if it is a 'celebrity' and ok

Sorry, just found it from 2009. That's really surprised me, I don't know why, I'm not even that keen on him but I didn't think he was that bad.

I think MT got banned for drink driving from drinking the night before. I think that's easy to do. You wake up and think you're OK but alcohol is still in your system. Is comparatively recently that the police have done random testing for this. But I don't think that was his only drink driving ban so you'd think he'd be especially cautious.

That's what happened to Ant. He'd been drinking the night before then drove out with his mum the next morning to take the dogs for a walk. Bumped his car going like 2 miles an hour if that into a parked car then got absolutely vilified by the nation.

Media made an absolute shitstorm of it, as though he'd been out on the lash and immediately drove a car blind drunk. It was nothing if the sort

You only have to look above this post and see two posters excusing it because it was the night before's drinking

What a load of crap! Have you seen the video where the cars are smashed to pieces? That doesn’t happen going 2 miles an hour. He’s also looked 3 sheets to the wind stumbling out his car.

Yes I’ve seen the video , Ant stumbles out that car not knowing if it’s New York or New Year! Really drunk in the video, which was awful and he was lucky not to have killed someone. It also came out after that he was very self important and “do you know who I am “ kind of a thing which was disappointing as I didn’t think either of them would be like that.

A poster asked for a link to Mike's DD conviction. Another poster provided it. You then started accusing people of excusing it as being OK for celebrities (which no one has said).

Ant was more than twice the legal limit. That’s not someone who was a bit ropey from the night before.

I am very sympathetic to addiction issues and he was addicted to opioids after knee surgery which can’t have been easy to overcome, it’s basically like heroin addiction. I am pleased Ant didn’t harm anyone and that he wasn’t cancelled - the difference is Ant isn’t pious about anyone else and doesn’t get uppity if another celeb cocks up. He did the right thing by disappearing for a year and coming back better.

I agree that it certainly looked, from that video footage, as if Ant was drunk and that the damage indicated a higher-speed impact that a couple of miles per hour.
But the "do you know who I am" stuff sounds like unsubstantiated gossip. Neither he nor Dec have ever given any indication of coming across like that.
