Yet another new thread.

The days of public stocks and hanging have ended, thankfully. These people have fallen foul of the law/public expectations, paid the price of humiliation and done their time re: punishment. As a pp said, Ant stayed out of the public eye for quite some time afterwards and made heartfelt public apologies.
Time to move on, I think.

Nope. I don't tend to choose Tories as friends.

This mindset baffles me. I have no clue how my friends vote and I was raised to believe it’s rude to ask.

And if I found out a friend voted Tory I think I’d shrug and forget all about it.

If you don't know any how can you comment on them negatively as friends.

Or maybe people who vote differently to you ,dont choose you due to your intolerance ?

i think its pretty obvious who is right or left leaning without having to ask how someone votes.

Well my world and the people in it isn’t that black and white. And I’d never pigpen hold anyon as ‘worthy’ of my friendship based on their political beliefs. Sounds too much like hard work!

I do have a friend whose son died in the (illegal, and unnecessary) Iraq war which was waged by Labour. She’s still, justifiably, angry. Id be surprised if she did vote Labour and I wouldn’t hold it against her if she voted Tory. Or think she was a bad person. I think lefties can often forget the damage New Labour caused to so many lives.

I couldn't give a flying fuck what people vote. It's rude to ask anyway. Hence private voting.

Seanns Ex Rebecca Humphries is a very good actress. So I don't care if a book deal landed on her easily after the storm.
