I’m beginning to wonder if Jill is as nice as I first thought. She was quick enough to join in and stick in the boot about MH last night.

HappyHamsters · 20/11/2022 10:53

The question was what was his nickname during his rugby career, not during the camp he knew it wasnt magic mike.

XanaduKira · 20/11/2022 10:57

@MissDollyMix I really like Jill but she's been the same all along with the digs. I commented previously about her digs to MH and how if it had been anyone else there would have been uproar on here, but as it was Jill, no one even mentioned it. She openly made comments to MH as well as behind his back.

Aquarius1234 · 20/11/2022 11:02

I missed the comments from Jill, her accents very strong.
It's not just money they mean when talking about MH, it's that he isn't down to earth and Liberal minded and doing things they do on a weekend maybe.
You can be rich and not a twat. And all high and mighty. Everyone seems to stand to attention just cos he's in politics.

XanaduKira · 20/11/2022 11:05

She's been commenting all the way through - I can't remember what she has said, but she has said a lot - generally one liners taking the pee or making a joke. Nothing awful, but if anyone else had said they, they'd definitely be called bitchy.

Aquarius1234 · 20/11/2022 11:05

I don't vote Tory or Labour but would rather see jeremy corbyn in there.

We play the board game Mr&Mrs at home. First rule is to say what you think your partner will, not necessarily the actual truth.

Yep, it's obvious he realised she'd never get the real answer so he opted for the most likely, that being what she'd been calling him in camp.

Bbq1 · 20/11/2022 11:17

ArcaneWireless · 19/11/2022 22:04

The mental health of men doesn’t matter when you are bitching about a man when he can’t defend himself.

supersmashinggreat.

I hope his mental health doesn’t take a battering when he watches things back..

And they say MN is a nest of vipers?

My arse.

Agree. Obviously it's only the mental. Health of some men who must of the campmates care about.

MissDollyMix · 20/11/2022 11:18

The problem with having politicians in the show is that it’s impossible to discuss them without bringing their politics into it! I think if Jeremy Corbyn was in the camp he would just get along with everyone and be unphased by any tasks he was set. Before anyone jumps on me though that doesn’t necessarily reflect how I feel about his Westminster persona. Ditto MH.

confusedandisolating · 20/11/2022 11:19

When they were talking about MH living in another world, I think it was more in reference to power than money i.e. being part of Westminster.

HappyHamsters · 20/11/2022 11:24

I doubt MT lives in the "real World" either

sashagabadon · 20/11/2022 11:26

But BG and CM have power / influence too. Chris moyles in particular has had a radio show on the bbc now radio x for years and years. That is power of a different kind, cultural power.
yes MH has power and he had arguably too much of it during the pandemic but it was given to him because of a (thought deadly at time) virus. And he conceded most of that power to his health advisers as they were the experts.
anyway I don’t want to get into a covid discussion but lots of people have power especially rich celebs and relatives of royalty

Indeed

Aquarius1234 · 20/11/2022 11:29

Someone that has ro rely on getting drunk to be fun, is not a good sign. Eg MT. When he first said about him and Zara getting on.

Aquarius1234 · 20/11/2022 11:31

Anyone that can't be fun sober is a no no.
Or anyone that isn't ok with 2 glasses. And absolutely needs more. MT dull dull.

user16480478 · 20/11/2022 09:16

The only behaviour I've witnessed was him hugging Chris when Chris didnt want a hug, and wasnt he once swinging a hammock with someone in it who was asking him to stop?

This is the sort of thing that I cannot stand, he picked on that poor woman as well at the start and was grappling and groping her. They usually think it is very funny but no one else does

I hate rugger bugger men who are like this. Totally uncalled for

MissDollyMix · 20/11/2022 11:37

I’m a big fan of P.Anne and Zara so I’ve been really disappointed by MT. I mean, I know he can’t talk about ‘the family’ but he’s so devoid of personality and any signs of personality that have crept through haven’t been pleasant. I wonder what Zara sees in him? Or maybe she’s not who I thought she was either?

RosettaStormer · 20/11/2022 11:37

What attracted you to each other? ‘We both like getting bladdered. ‘. 🤮

RosettaStormer · 20/11/2022 11:38

I think he thought he would sound relateable. He just sounds immature and a bit of an idiot.

PuppyMonkey · 20/11/2022 11:48

I swear I must fall asleep and miss crucial bits, I can’t even recall Jill speaking last night. I think I just mentally switch off when she is on. Grin

Willmafrockfit · 20/11/2022 11:53

It's group mentality.
when MH leaves they will presuambly turn on someone else to bitch about.

woodhill · 20/11/2022 12:05

Dave20 · 20/11/2022 09:03

Matt Hancock was health secretary but I doubt he had much say in the whole covid pandemic. The government were advised by medical teams.
Hancock was just the puppet having his strings pulled. I doubt he made any decisions.

I think the other contestants were surprised MH didn’t go out first. I’d imagine they’ll be even more confused if others leave before Hancock does. I don’t think he’ll win but reckon he’ll last a few more days.

Yes exactly that

Its schoolyard bullying, follow the crowd, if MH goes they will continue moaning saying they are glad hes gone, shouldn't have been there etc. etc. It will be interesting if MT or his token wife leave as they have become quite reliant on each other and seem to be the bullying ringleaders.

CuriousMama · 20/11/2022 12:11

They're disgusting. Haven't any of them ever been bullied?

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 20/11/2022 12:20

sashagabadon · 20/11/2022 09:35

i don’t want MH or SW to win as I think they would both over interpret that win as the public loving / forgiving them and it would not be good for them to think that as it isn’t true. It’s better for both of them to leave mid / topish table. I also think this applies but to a lesser extent to Sue, BG and MT.
A too big ego is not good for an individual especially individuals with low self esteem / self confidence or those that are effected positively or negatively but what others think of them.

But what do the public have to forgive Seann Walsh for?! He didn’t cheat on me, or you, it’s nothing to do with us.

MH is different. He told us all to stay away from our loved ones while simultaneously groping his mistress. No I was NOT a curtain twitcher in lockdown and didn’t care if Joe Public broke the rules, but the people who make the rules should stick to them and he didn’t. So yes the public ARE the ones to forgive him in this case if that’s what they want to do - but Tbe same public done owe Seann Walsh their forgiveness
