It’s hardly the same - Johnson & Blair rode on the wings of the public purse, and afterwards they cashed in on that persona. Ant & Dec are paid for by ITV which is a private company.

I didn’t know Dec has had a baby! Did he get remarried? Or was that Ant? I seem to recall one of them caused a lot of upset because they left their wife but can’t remember which one

I have to say that it’s all very convenient that his spurned ex had enough material to write a book.

I don’t think anyone has to forgive SW. I think he wants that though. That’s basically why he is on the show ( plus the money presumably). It’s to move on from kissgate.
and Hancock had little choice but to implement rules, everyone was screaming for them infact many thought the rules too lax. So I don’t blame him for the rules. He kissed his colleague however presumably in a work bubble where social distancing rules did not apply and also in private not on the street and so to me only his wife and kids also need to forgive him ( or not).

Yes I agree, he does have that kind of privilege. The irony is none of them (except maybe SW and Baba) have actually boosted their public personas by playing it safe and being nice. They have just come across as dull.

Yes, Dec is married with a baby. Ant got remarried very quickly to his assistant/PA after divorcing his first wife Lisa.

That's what my friend said- that MH is autistic. I'm not sure but he does seem quite naive. The shaving water thing might be him just not seeing it as a problem to others. He doesn't come across as 'entitled', more as rather unaware. He is very capable though- intellectually and in terms of emotional self control. Makes a lot of the others look like quivering wrecks. BG does the same, which is interesting.

I think it’s her slow and quite monotone tone of voice. I feel a bit mean saying that, it’s not an aspersion on her character, just her voice.

I actually like Jill, but I was expecting someone a bit spunkier - this is the woman who screamed “FUCK OFF YOU FUCKING PRICK” in front of the world in the Euro’s final 😂

What are your cyclone choice ? I don’t think anyone who has been excempt from a trail should be going it. Sadly that includes Baba which is a shame as I like him.

Baba is exempt from the cyclone anyway as its water so I wonder if they will have to do it a day early if he is in the final ones as it wouldn't be as good with less people.

hey thats a bit nasty about Lorraine, who WON her tax case - basically that she as a performer was just as entitled to claim her agents fees againts her income as an actor would be. (and she argues she "performs" as the charachter of Lorraine, the nice affably scottish lady, and can't show her true feelings much, just like an actor).

I remember CM when he did radio 1. Haven’t heard about him for years. Then again there are so many radio stations around now, especially with digital radio.

@Aquarius1234 she would pay tax on her income at normal rates but she would be allowed a deduction of the expense of her agent (so 10%?), same as an actor.
