I am a fan of Seann’s and totally agree. I think winning/top 3 could be bad for him mentally in the long run. 4th or 5th and a trial or two would be a nice boost for him confidence wise so I’m hoping for that.

I think MH and BG in the final would be funny but I don’t really want Hancock there either for the reasons you state too.

I am coming round to the idea of George making the final because in fairness he may be bitchy but without him where would the drama be?

Then we’re left with people who would make a likeable but not hugely interesting top three but so be it. I think I’d like Owen, Jill and Baba/George.

I agree with many of you about MT what’s him being so high in the odds all about? He’s not even bringing much chat to it. Weird.

Just checked with DH. It was Magic Mike.
He was a very aggressive rugby player.

Its in the papers that mike cheated in the trial, his real nickname was the fridge, and that he said magic mike because he knew what sue said. What happens now if thats true.

So MT lied about his nickname to win a star? As he knew that's what Sue would say ? Ingenious 🤣

Just reading all the uproar about him lying. Honestly I thought it was clever. Most of them are lying by omission anyway pretending they like each other.

I really like seann and to be honest seeing the video of his ex girlfriend pouring her heart out to the ghastly, fake tax dodging Lorraine Kelly I can see why he snogged Katya.

Agree Jill is nice but dull, she's only popular because of the lioness win. It was hyped to the max but fair play to her.

I want Jill to win, she isn't aggressive, contrary or exciting but seems pleasant and friendly and tries to do the trials.
I think you should only be on the programme if you can do all the trials, so no veggies, non swimmers, special diets etc.
It's back to the fairness v inclusivity issue and with an entertaining game show I'd rather have fairness and them all being up for all the trials.
I think the initial trials were too horrible.

A lot of MT's antics are probably alchohol fuelled too, Chuck some booze into camp and we might see a different Mike!

Oh I still think he’s a prick 🤣 but I’ve said all along he’s an entertaining prick and is by far the most genuine person. I feel he’s quite frustrated that he’s brought his genuine self, warts and all, to the jungle, and others are only showing the nicey nice side of themselves. I hope he lasts until the end. Would be a boring show without him. He’s was 100% right to call out the BS last night. I did feel sorry for Seann though who I suspect agrees with him but doesn’t wanna look like the bad guy.

@CuriousMama yes funny that! He was so awful she was cheering him on every week on strictly. I read she was also dumped by her next boyfriend after seann so don't think the issue is all with him.

Magic Mike live is a famous strip show in Leicester square. There’s posters all other the place for it on tube etc.

Interesting points here regarding Matt Hancock being seen as out of touch by the other contestants.

Mike Tindall married into the RF, Boy George is a multimillionaire, Chris Moyles got paid lots of money as a DJ, and Sue has been in Corrie for over 20 years. She must have been pretty well paid over all these years?..

Hancocks MPs salary would be about 80k. Yes as a cabinet minister he would have got more.
But an MP can lose their seat after any election, so it’s not a guaranteed income for long.

An MPs salary is obviously way above the average wage but many managing directors of companies would be on more than that. A head teacher of a school wouldn’t be on much less that that. Bankers get lots more money. Lots of people get paid more than an MP.

So I don’t get why they all seem to think Hancock lives in another world to them, when probably most of them earn more than he does anyway.

They are all being paid way more than they would ever earn in 3 weeks, Charlene got 75k for 2 weeks and dipped out of her only trial

No he cheated, he could have lipread, it was not his nickname so he lied.

They've all been calling him Magic Mike in there. I don't see the big deal that he lied as it was to answer the same as your partner - they didn't stipulate that you had to tell the truth.

@LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet totally agree with you about BG - I reckon he is annoyed that he's being authentic (warts and all) whereas others are pretending. What he hasn't probably appreciated is that he has the luxury of not needing to work again or being reliant on how he comes across, whereas all the rest of them will be heavily dependent on how they are viewed by the public for future work.

We play the board game Mr&Mrs at home. First rule is to say what you think your partner will, not necessarily the actual truth.

Also BG has the luxury of being BG and the public know him as outspoken, outrageous etc . It’s baked in for him as far as the public is concerned. Same with CM. They will lose little social cachet “speaking their minds” infact it’s expected of them.
That’s not the case for the others and they have therefore more to lose. If MT, BT,MH etc stated spouting off their true feelings about everything and everyone, we’d all be 😮but BG doing it and we are 🙄or 😁or 😴
