Tbf I think if I was I'm their this year I would find the camp mates tedious. They are a very dull year. Also yes the politics from the other camp mates isn't very intelligent.

MH is here for the same reasons as Seann, probably BG and CM, maybe MT. He wants the public to like him more. Bit of a boring episode tonight.

Mike was a bit of a dick giving Matt a third job. I like that Matt doesn’t ever seem fazed. I do think now the constant bitching of Mike, Sue and Chris is getting seriously old (especially when all 3 have dodgy AF track records) and the constant jibes at Matt are staring to point to bullying. Not a good look.

Mike and Sue are so dull and I really wanted and expected to like them.

I really feel for Seann, he’s panicking about not being liked, he must have gone through hell and I think it’s a good time to reflect on how the press and public can really ground a person down and push them to the edge.

BG gone way up in my estimation - I agree with him 100% that the ‘hippy commune’ Kum By Ya crap is starting to wear thin. I love that he was honest and said he loves no one except Chris. Good for him - the schmaltz is OTT. Although having said that he has the privilege of never needing to work again if he doesn’t want to, and the others want a 30 year career in showbiz so have to mind what they say. Still though, I think he’s right and there’s a bit of fakery, and it ain’t coming from Hancock.

Seann is my favourite to win. He’s given me the biggest laughs and seems like a good bloke. Felling very ‘meh’ about a lot of them

I worked in an arts school and ‘artistic’ people are VERY much told they’re different to others, more special and a cut above the rest and I remember any poor behaviour was excused by ‘I’m an artist’. ‘Creative’ people really do think, without a sense of irony, that they aren’t like other people.

I do like the fact that Matt isn't playing into MT or Sue's games giving him a 3rd job. He's not stupid. Everyone else has one job, it's fucking blatant why they've given it to him. But he's not giving them anything

He's chosing to try and relaunch his career. He's chosing to do a reality tv show even though he's traumatised.

Surely if they pretend to MH they like him but behind his back, bitch about him, it is them that is being fake and not him.

Why say anything at all? They've said it before, why keep saying it? Huddling together and saying things behind his back is trying to build an alliance against Matt so they feel comfortable that in isolating him, they'll do it as a group and won't stand out.

Same and I don’t think he wants back stabbing and drama like some people here claim, well that’s not what I took from it at all. I think he wants people to behave as they would in the outside world which is not telling folk you’ve known 2 weeks that you love them

I guess it’s all in perception. I’m enjoying this year, although tonight’s was fairly humdrum, admittedly. Jill and Owen are the bookies’ favourites currently. They started with Mike as the favourite but he’s slipped down the odds now. He’s a bit dull. I actually like watching George for the reason that he really doesn’t care what people think of him. He’s not needy like some of the others.

The irony of a member of the Royal Family agreeing that Matt Hancock lives in a ‘higher’ world than them is absolutely laughable and indicative of the total delusion of some of the campmates.

I hate to be the one to say it, but what happened to Caroline Flack taught us all a hard lesson.

I personally don’t care that Seann kissed Katya. Affairs happen all the time for many, many reasons and I don’t think it automatically makes someone a bad person deserving of abject hate. I’ve never watched strictly but I remember the scandal well and thinking how OTT it went.

Neither. I think he stayed in another few weeks before he got voted out.

I agree re Seann's affair. It was a personal matter and doesn't make him a bad person all round. It was the same years ago when the world went mental because Tiger Woods was cheating on his wife left right & centre and they made him publicly apologise- I remember thinking, why tf is he apologising to me, I'm not his wife!!!

They've caused relationship breakdowns, its not like they've committed violent crimes and are a danger to the public! People need to get a grip.

And even when he got on with his third job and he was pulling out poo, they criticised him.

It's no impact on me Seann kissing Katya. But I do find it frustrating when people describe cheating as a mistake. I think if you chose to be in the public eye and you chose to cheat and then admit to gaslighting and abusing your partner then what do you expect?

He wasn't liked because his behaviour was blatantly unlikeable, and he knows this behaviour is hurtful and unlikeable. He is also chosing to participate in another reality show and once again expose himself to the media which has traumatised him

I don't dislike him, but he doesn't have to take responsibility for his actions and he's not the victim in this scenario. That was his partner who was publicly humiliated and abused.

I’m watching it (obviously) having not seen it for a good 8 years or so.

Some of the trials and sets built seem good. But the contestants really do seem rather dull overall. There’s not much crackle and sparkle. Think I was expecting more especially with MH and MT. it all seems rather plodding with a bit of bitching from BG and Sue but nothing of any major note.

Really really can’t understand why MT wanted this. And with time he’s not developing into anything of interest.

Am finding it interesting though that the media hype over MH taking part - that I wholeheartedly disagree with as a current serving tax payer funded MP - seems to be fizzling out. It will be interesting to see whether he’s voted out next or whether someone else goes before him again. Oh the ignominy of being voted out before him.
