Yet another new thread.

He’s cultivating a completely blank persona. I think he wants to be voted off so he can go back to his cushy life and cash the cheque.

I think Seann is traumatised because his whole life was torn apart, his career ruined and he was the most hated man in Britain at the time. There were people baying for his blood and wanting him kicked off Strictly. Him and Katya had to make a public apology and he received all sorts of abuse on social media. All that for a drunken snog.

Although obviously there are a lot more serious things in the world to be traumatised about than a Strictly scandal.

I'm not laughing much this year, and then only at Ant and Dec.

BG reminds me of a friend of mine. She is automatically contrary and like Sean I find myself smoothing things over. But actually I love the way she doesn’t take the easy road and thinks ‘hang on’ when it would be easier to just nod and smile ( my lazy default). There is an integrity in always being the grit of sand in the oyster.

Mike has never said he is a Labour voter. I doubt very much that he is.

Wasnt it that Katya was married to another strictly star, Neil Jones, and people felt sorry for him that he was being betrayed by his wife and a work colleague? And he still had to dance with his wife and work with Seann on Strictly while all this publicity was going on.

I didn't like Seann in the first few episodes. He is growing on me!

I've said it before on previous threads but worth repeating - Seann is a shit who cheated on his gf while he was on strictly, tried to gaslight her into thinking the media rumours weren't true, then the photos appeared and he made it out it was her fault he cheated. There was other stuff going on behind closed doors, she released a book about it recently. He's an emotionally abusive narc. He reminds me so much of my ex husband, presents an air of vulnerability and honesty but deep down is a psychopath. It wasn't just an affair.

MH isn't the typical tory stereotype in terms of upbringing ie he's more northern, he went to an FE College.

Yes exactly! Very easy for people who weren’t in a giant media storm like he was to act like it was nothing! I don’t even watch Strictly and I couldn’t get away from that story.

Yes he seems to have gone to an FE College before Cambridge. I imagine he stuck out like a sore thumb at Cambridge too. Just an odd bod generally. He seems very capable, just totally lacking in empathy and people skills. I think beneath his forced matey act he despises his camp mates. He is arrogant and self satisfied. He never does anything to help others or puts himself out.
That exchange with Sue was very telling. He’s a lazy arse who expects others to pick up and clean after him. He almost snarled at her when she pulled him up on it. He thinks he’s better than the rest of them.

I wondered whether he could be autistic. I have a friend whose son has similar traits, he has dyspraxia and autism, very clever lad but never quite fits in, always on the outside, but almost not aware of anything, no real emotion or reaction shown.

This comment is so silly. Because that poster says one thing negative about she has to be a BG fan? It is possible to dislike them both. We don't have to 'pick a side'.

Sue had every right to pull him up when he didn't clean up after himself. But the way she spoke to him was disgusting and aggressive. She wouldn't have spoken like that to Boy George because he would have gone apeshit at her. Then a bit later she shared the information that she was having a dump. She's a vile woman as well as a bully.

I like BG but bit disappointed he isn't confronting more people. He is also a but scared to challenge people.

Like why not gather the group and say its forced and why is everyone treading on eggshells. Maybe he knows the answer. Better to play safe and collect the money.
But that isn't getting to know celebs warts and all. I blame the producers for giving them an easier ride the last several years. Its all too known and safe.

From collecting the wood to the sleeping to the stupid food that comes down and the silly challenges.

I disagree that an affair/cheating is a mistake. Its not a mistake, you know full well that its wrong and that the hurt it will cause if found out. The mistake is thinking you won't get caught. I think it's quite manipulative of Seann to say on a previous reality show he was traumatised and therefore he's anxious on I'm a celeb. It's quite easy not to cheat on someone, it's not like he won't have known people would consider his actions wrong. It's quite easy not to make the same mistake

Confront people about what, though? What have people done to deserve to be confronted? Why is he superior enough to confront people but he doesn't like it when he was asked about his past deeds?

Also Chris Moyles was paid sometime like 600k as a radio 1 DJ. It's completly obtuse for him and MT to sit there and act like MH comes from a different world. Him and MT exist in a world that the majority of people can only dream of, they have immense wealth and privilege. (Obviously as does MH, but they are no different)

A politician, regardless of their party will probably spend significantly more time listening to and dealing with the general public than anyone in that jungle. And its incredibly naive to think that someone gets to be health secretary and can't work out people dont like him. Seann walsh had one affair and was traumatised, but politicians get thay kind of press all the time. You have to develop a thick skin and stick to your line despite people not liking you, not agreeing with you. Again this will happen regardless of which party.

I'm not a Tory. But I find it quite frustrating to listen to a bunch of celebrities who are happy to sit on their 100,000 salaries pretend they are left wing.
