I thought Buddhism was all about calm and living in peace with the world, not shit stirring, drama and backstabbing.

Chocrock · 19/11/2022 22:38

This is why you can never trust the polls before an election - no one will admit
to voting Tory!
I voted for Babatunde but wish I had given Sean some votes too I think he comes across as kind and sensitive.

CuriousMama · 19/11/2022 22:39

No you don't need to be skint. My point is they obviously aren't enjoying it. Why put yourself through it?

twelly · 19/11/2022 22:41

I thought that Buddhist philosophy was all about living in harmony

I gave all my votes to Sean’s and last time voted for Baba and Seann so we have balanced each other out 😁

Aquarius1234 · 19/11/2022 22:43

I totally agree with everything BG was saying.

HappyHamsters · 19/11/2022 22:44

And not taking part or inciting idle gossip

2Rebecca · 19/11/2022 22:45

I like Sean but voted for Matt and Jill again. I'd like poisonous back stabbing Sue to go, or Drama Llama BG

I know 2 buddhists, neither are what one would called 'centred', one is all over the place manic, creates drama wherever she goes.. the other tries to rise above her feelings of anger at things or putting others down, but never manages it..
Practising what you preach is a tricky one for some humans i guess Smile

Why’s George so upset about the group
getting on? Does it matter? They don’t have to be friends afterwards. Surely it’s better to get on , even if it’s a bit forced?

He doesn't like it being forced and neither do I. Seanns annoying , yes none what to rock the boat or even get into minor disagreements.

Aquarius1234 · 19/11/2022 22:52

Maybe it's true they are living with MH, maybe he isn't being genuine and doesn't live in the real world for whatever reason.
You could also still vote Conservative and hate MH and Boris.
They are prob Liberal or don't vote any

I found it strange Sean told Owen he'd had a previous traumatic reality show and Owen just gave platitudes and didn't ask what happened and what was so traumatic

I think everyone knows about his Strictly scandal, he’s probably talked about it a lot but obviously only a tiny amount of footage is shown in the edit

Aquarius1234 · 19/11/2022 23:02

In the arts world conservative means racist and homophobic. So why would any open minded down to earth person vote tory. .

Miss03852 · 19/11/2022 23:03

Jellykat · 19/11/2022 21:58

Guess if their instincts are saying hes not being genuine they should listen, but also maybe most people dont trust politicians full stop, anymore!

Nah I think they’re just being mean because he’s a bit of a nerd

2Rebecca · 19/11/2022 23:04

I know he had a fling with Katya but am not sure what the trauma was. Was the trauma being found out? It not lasting?

CuriousMama · 19/11/2022 23:05

He was slated and his gf brought stuff up. Did a kiss and tell I think?

2Rebecca · 19/11/2022 23:05

Him being a bit of a nerd probably is him being genuine though. He just isn't like them

Yes lol being found out and press all over it and social media.

Aquarius1234 · 19/11/2022 23:06

MH seems bossy imo

Aquarius1234 · 19/11/2022 23:07

And like a guest.

Who's your favourite? Is it BG?

2Rebecca · 19/11/2022 23:12

I watch strictly but don't follow the gossip and am always amazed at how much women on here know about the pros who I have little interest in. I did think Aliona was beautiful and talented but am uninvested in the current lot. I'm not surprised all that closeness and intensity leads to affairs but getting "traumatised" by choosing to have an affair with a beautiful dancer is ridiculous

Honeyroar · 19/11/2022 23:17

I quite like how BG backs down a bit and listens if people stand up to him. He’s not quite as dramatic and scary as he thinks. He likes to try to shock people. You can see it when they were talking about their pasts.

MarshaMelrose · 19/11/2022 23:18

No one watches it for boring and nice.

I disagree. The best year I remember was with genius David Gest (RIP) and the ever so thick Matt Willis. I laughed so much and they were a lovely group of people. David Gest was robbed - but he was king in my eyes at least.

MissDollyMix · 19/11/2022 23:21

I always find it a shame when people give it the whole “politicians are only in it for themselves” schtick …I mean I’m sure some are (of whatever colour) but I know so many people who use this as a reason to not vote. I hope CM voicing these opinions doesn’t put more young people off voting. Fwiw my father was a politician who definitely wasn’t in it for himself.
