It's as though they deliberately decided to platform men who are, or have been, as odious as possible. The Hancock decision has hurt the show most because lots of massive celebrity fans who usually tweet about every minute of the bloody programme, have turned off in protest.
It's not light entertainment if you lost someone. It's not fun if you couldn't see your loved ones in their final illness. And no amount of eating crap makes up for it. The sheer brazeness of thinking doing some challenges on TV is somehow a public punishment or atonement makes me sick. He really has no idea of why some people detest him, does he? as if a few challenges will make people think 'Actually, you know what? I couldn't see my mother in her care home, I was living alone and couldn't have anyone visit, I had to try and WFH and it was hard, and some people made out like bandits with PPE thanks to their mates in government, but Hancock's eaten some sheep's testicles, shows he's an all right bloke really so I forgive him.'
