Haha! just realised what you mean - Will making sure we know he's thinking about his dad by very obviously looking up to the heavens after the end of his dance!

And continued to look up to the heavens when the judges were talking and when he was with Claudia

If he is in the lighting rigs you want to have a word with the funeral directors

Quality 🤣

It was a bit X factor tonight with all the sob stories.

Leaderboard

Thank you very much. I really appreciate having the leaderboard put on here, they don't show it for long enough for me to even read it, never mind remember it and work out who to vote for - thank you! :)

Samcro · 12/11/2022 20:48

I Fast forward the vts so missed the sob stories
loved wills dance
voted hamza, will and ellie
the American smooth confused me as I thought it was like a waltz yet there didn’t seem to be much in hold.
liked fleur but only had 3 votes

BogRollBOGOF · 12/11/2022 20:56

My votes have gone to Hamza and Fleur tonight. I enjoy their dances which they do well and watching them develop.

The stronger dancers from the early weeks have either tended to be fairly static or consistent, or just not had the je ne sais quoi.

The sob stories irritate me. Everyone's got a potential sob story. Some truely are tragic, but when everyone pulls one out, it devalues them anyway.
Maybe I've lost too many family members this year to have an abundance of spare sympathy I like escapism. It's hard enough to find these days as it is. I started watching Strictly a couple of years ago for the vicarious glamour when life was feeling bleak.

derxa · 12/11/2022 20:57

C'mon hamza

KimberleyClark · 12/11/2022 20:57

My DH accidentally referred to Motsi as Motsi Mabooby tonight.

Sunbird24 · 12/11/2022 21:02

Luke Evans singing I Vow to Thee my Country at the Festival of Remembrance 😭

Fleur's dress reminded me of The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛But loved her hair and makeup.

I can’t I see that now!

I know. I’ve about gone sunbird

I served with a lovely Welsh chap and to sit near him in the Kirk for Battle of Britain services or Remembrance Day services touched my heart like I can’t describe.

There is something about a Welsh singing voice. It comes from their boots - right through their soul.

ArcaneWireless · 12/11/2022 21:08

Gone properly now.

Our old gaffer sunbird 🫡

ilovesooty · 12/11/2022 21:12

I'm watching the football so I recorded Strictly to watch later. It sounds as though I'm going to have to fast forward a lot through the sobbing.

PassTheLetter · 12/11/2022 21:17

Me too, I watch it as a bit of lighthearted escapism. No interest at all or the remotest jot of empathy for any of their sob stories. I've got my own to deal with thanks.

Hamza is fab but the only person truly interested in his two day old baby photo is his mum, I'm certainly not.

Kilpitlees · 12/11/2022 21:20

Absolutely fucking loved Hamza and Jowita. He is so smooth and she is fire.Amen

Canthave2manycats · 12/11/2022 21:36

PrincessScarlett · 12/11/2022 20:09

I'm bored to tears with all the sob stories

Most of them have a sob story - I don't think they should be highlighted so much but come on, this is their reality!

I love Will. i think he's genuine and likeable. Wish I'd voted for him now. Love Hamza too. Would like to see Helen do well as one in the eye for her disgusting ex.

awaynboilyurheid · 12/11/2022 21:48

Loved Hamza and Jowita, the African moves in their dance were amazing! Great choreography Jowita is a sensational pro dancer.
I wasn’t sure about the sharing of Kym’s story she said it was to get people talking not sure a dancing show was appropriate place, seemed a bit shoe horned in to a waltz.
Tyler’s dance was like one pose after another wasn’t his best dance.
Fleur was good but didnt get the huge wow factor no idea why Motsi was crying over it.
Helen did look nervous like she was waiting on the lifts once it was side by side she looked much happier.
Katya once again excelled at getting the best out of Tony, no idea who will go out.

KimberleyClark · 12/11/2022 22:12

I loved Kym’s dress tonight. I love midnight blue.

Piggywaspushed · 12/11/2022 22:14

James Jordan gave Will a 9.

Ellmau · 12/11/2022 22:17

I love Hamza as much as anyone else, but I didn't love his dancing this week, I found it a bit lumbering, apart from the spectacular lifts.

Fleur and Molly were both fantastic, and Helen was really good too.

I liked Kym's dance, but fear she will be going home, although Tony remains the poorest dancer by far. Ellie T perhaps second worst for me this week, though not at all bad. Tyler is usually just there for me, but I felt this was his best dance, but his neck seemed a bit stooped over.

Great evening overall.

Ellmau · 12/11/2022 22:27

Oh, I forgot Will. That's because while nice, his dance was a little bit dull.

Lentilweaver · 12/11/2022 22:30

Just rewatched Fleur's samba and it is so, so good on a second watch if you look closely. Her hips are amazing. But I had to blot out the horrible costumes, flashing red and green lights, and all the rest of it....
