I hate Remembrance Sunday routines, they're always so cringeworthy.

StellaAndCrow · 12/11/2022 20:23

I think I'm going to stick with my original choice of Ellie, Helen and Kym.

Aquarius1234 · 12/11/2022 20:23

The most interesting thing was Anton not giving Will a 10. Hmmmm

StellaAndCrow · 12/11/2022 20:24

DuncanBiscuits · 12/11/2022 20:23

I’m getting a special glittery sick bag for next week.

Ha, that's a great idea - they should let Claudia have one!

Lentilweaver · 12/11/2022 20:24

ArcaneWireless · 12/11/2022 20:23

Ok - you’ve got me.

What have I missed because I’m no seeing that😉

Cmon! I think they just have great chemistry. I admire that Jowita has showcased Hamza so well, given it is her first series and she could have overdanced.

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 12/11/2022 20:25

I remember a very beautiful Remembrance group dance.

made me cry proper tears

ArcaneWireless · 12/11/2022 20:26

I love the Remembrance Sunday routines.

Per ardua ad astra 🦅

iklboo · 12/11/2022 20:26

Are Hamza and Jowita lovers

Her husband will be a bit pissed off if they are.

Nancy broke me tonight when she said about losing loved ones and not getting to say goodbye. My dad died 10 minutes before I got to the hospital after they phoned me to say he'd taken a turn for the worse on 23 December. We were expecting him home for Christmas.

Aquarius1234 · 12/11/2022 20:26

Hamza bores me.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 12/11/2022 20:27

i was disappointed in the jerusalama as i love that song and the challenge

the whole show was meh for me tonight
i wont be voting <<stamps foot>>

IveDroppedMiBiscuitInMiBrew · 12/11/2022 20:27

Helen, Ellie and Tony. Not a sob story in sight and I enjoy watching them. I want to see Tony get to Blackpool, probably his time to go after next week though, I find him entertaining though.

Lentilweaver · 12/11/2022 20:28

I am sorry to all those who have lost loved ones on this thread, but I don't like the sob stories on Strictly because where does it end? And then soon it's a race to the bottom.

Luckily my fave Fleur stuck to the dancing tonight.

Lampzade · 12/11/2022 20:30

I watch Strictly for escapism.
I really don’t want to hear people’s sob stories.
Sounds harsh, but that is how I feel.

ArcaneWireless · 12/11/2022 20:30

I’m not being funny but I would like Bradley to read me a bednight story. Dressed as, and in the style of, Ronnie Brooks.

Emotionalsupportviper · 12/11/2022 20:31

ArcaneWireless · 12/11/2022 20:23

Ok - you’ve got me.

Me neither.

I think that they get on well. work hard at the rehearsals and enjoy each others company and have a good laugh, but nothing more than that.

Musermum · 12/11/2022 20:31

Just finished watching... Always late with Saturday tea. Agree too many sob stories and thought Jowita... Well... I couldn't take my eyes off her. She's brilliant. Voting Helen and Molly. Reckon Fleur and Hamza safe.

PrincessScarlett · 12/11/2022 20:32

They must be told to have a sob story surely 🤷🏻‍♀️ Some of them seem quite uncomfortable sharing such personal stories. Thinking of Helen when she was giving daggers to Gorka a couple of weeks back.

ArcaneWireless · 12/11/2022 20:35

I think Helen has shown great dignity in the circumstances.

I admire her for that.

Lentilweaver · 12/11/2022 20:35

Helen absolutely does not want to share her story, though they may prise it out of her yet.

woodhill · 12/11/2022 20:36

Hanza was incredible tonight and he is very humble

EsmaCannonball · 12/11/2022 20:37

Fuck's sake, just have Dead People Week and get it all over and done with in one go. The days of Dead Nans are now looking like a laugh-riot episode of Hi-de-Hi.

Tony looked like a niche psychopath from a David Lynch film. The whole routine was like a scene from David Lynch.

Vito looked more like Shaggy than Nikita when Nikita was being Shaggy.

I thought Fleur would suit the samba, and the music was a regular crowd-pleaser, but something about that routine didn't work for me. I think it was the horrible costumes.

I much preferred the simple waltz to the contempowaft American Smooth.

Lentilweaver · 12/11/2022 20:40

@EsmaCannonball you always make me laugh! Costumes for Fleur and Vito were indeed horrible. I liked her hair and makeup though.

mydogisthebest · 12/11/2022 20:41

I would be happy to see Tyler go tonight. I find him boring to watch and I didn't think it necessary for him to wear that ridiculous top tonight. I don't find him the slightest bit attractive especially with the tattoos. Hamza, for me, is a million times more attractive.

I enjoyed Tony's dance more than Molly's, Kym's and Tyler's

StellaAndCrow · 12/11/2022 20:41

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 12/11/2022 20:05

If he is in the lighting rigs you want to have a word with the funeral directors

Haha! just realised what you mean - Will making sure we know he's thinking about his dad by very obviously looking up to the heavens after the end of his dance!

PrincessScarlett · 12/11/2022 20:42

Fleur's dress reminded me of The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛But loved her hair and makeup.
