They don't know what to do with Matty. He was just there to tick a box. Typical of these producers and unfair on the actor. They introduce all these people and then don't know what to do with them and can't be arsed resolving any stories properly.

Totally agree @JaneJeffer I really liked him at first and found his transition story interesting and upsetting. He just seems to have gradually faded into the background and deserves more than this.

I wonder if they will ever introduce someone new with no ridiculous link to an existing character. I wish they would just go. I've never seen any soap producer stick around as long as these three.

The backstories from nowhere are getting completely ridiculous. In Classic Cain is seeing Letitia who is mixed race. Now if they'd brought Nate in as a result of this affair that would have been believable - ok that child wouldn't be old enough - but Nate would have been conceived a few years ago in Classic and there was never any mention of Cain and a barmaid.

Little Kyle has proved a good actor in this storyline.

There's always a valid passport to hand isn't there? No one ever seems to be at work, jobs are local, they mostly drink amd eat in the cafe or pub. Just like in real life. Makes me want to live in soap land to be fair.
